The food is really bad. And somewhat pricey. Extremely disappointing. Such a nice location and they don't make more out of it.

In a prime location hence the high prices but the quality of service and coffee was barely average. We paid about 4 or 5 times the price for a cup of coffee than can be found in the quieter backstreets. Best avoided if on a budget.

Like most of Sintra this place gets overrun with tourists and they make the most of it. Not a lot of local regular trade I guess.

Situated in the heart of the circle facing the National Palace, there are plenty of patio tables to soak up the atmosphere and people watch. Service was efficient. Food, although average in taste, was certainly a bit on the pricier side, even when you factor in that it's a tourist trap. Possibly my bad luck, but the cut of meat... More

This is in the main Sintra square with some decent reviews on other sites. The place was crowded both in and outside, so I took a chance there. The food, a portuguese hamburger was decent, not particularly authentic is seemed and over-priced too. You are paying for the scene as much as anything. Typical extra charges for bread and butter... Surly service, bordering on rude, and so expensive! To wit, an espresso at 1.80 each, whereas one at Byron Bar literally next door is 80 cents! Setting may be nice especially exterior, but I would avoid at all cost. Go to the down to earth Byron Bar that has equally good views to the Palace and the castle and even... More

Got asked if we would like some bread and olives while we got seated and was charged 16€ at the end for olives, bread and butter! When I asked the waiter, he rudely said it's on the menu! Never going back. Regret going without checking reviews! Food was mediocre too, one dish too salty and other too bland. Not even... More

Stopped here for lunch after touring the castles at Sintra. Two of us had salad Niçoise, two chicken crepes. Excellent, and a nice white wine. Dessert was outrageous!

Thank Dan C
