we were invited to this lovely place yesterday and it was really a surprise to discover it, quite 'hidden' in the Alvalade neighbourhood. On two levels in a clean and friendly atmosphere we were served some absolutely delicious starters and tried than 4 different dishes, each of them a good choice. The wine list is interesting, and our dear friends... More

It is one of the best traditional restaurants in Lisbon. Here, you must try the gastronomy of Alentejo, one of the best kept secrets of Portugal. The hors d'oeuvre" are fresh and delicious... and more than enough to dine! Look out for the red wines from Alentejo as well. Don't leave without tasting the sweets.

This was a 9 strong friends dinner which ended up being perfect in terms of sitting as the place features a round table on the upper floor. The food was very well prepared, tasty, Portuguese style at a very reasonable price. I do not drink wine so I cannot judge but my fellow diners seemed quite happy with the available... More

Usually well off Portuguese business men and women fill this place the two times I've been for lunch. Service first time was perfect, a waiter with good manners and some nice conversation, second time slightly too standoffish and formal for me. Food great. Not always delicate (I had port trotters in a heavy red wine reduction) but all the elements... More

Very good service, excellent food, like if you are visiting Alentejo not leaving Lisbon. Very very good quality and very quiet too.

We choose the dégustation menu and it was perfect. More than perfect was the duck pie that was part of it. Price above average however is justified (25€ per person). It also has outside tables if you prefer to enjoy the fresh air and the airplanes passing by ☺✈

I've been in several different occasions and it never let's the costumers down. Usually I take my costumers here since it is a quite place and easy to park. The service is quick and efficient. The food is traditional Portuguese exceptionally made. The options of wine are also great. One of my favorite restaurants in Lisbon. Must reserve ahead.

My wife and I ate here with a local couple, and we chose this restaurant mainly because it's one of the few we know of where, without charge, you can take your own wine - so trust me when I say the 2 bottles of wine and bottle of vintage port we had were truly excellent! The entradas were very... More
