Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Nice historical place: Natas are pretty nice and I think I can have 10 of them without any doubt. Atmosphere is great and cool enough so don't worry about the weather. Coffees are great and service is fast for that amount of clients in the...place. But!!! Babas have glucose I guess! My stomach burned all day long because. Add a euro more but don't use glucose if you do guys!More

We visited here twice whilst we were in Lisbon and was lucky both times that there wasn't a queue for takeaway. The Pasteis del Nata are freshly baked and taste delicious. They also provide you with cinammon and sugar to enjoy with them. Would definitely...recommend to anyone visiting the city.More

What a wonderful experience with friendly helpful staff and absolutely delicious pastries. If you have to wait it’s well worth it, if only for the pasteis 👍

The Pastéis de Belém (aka Pasties de Nata) here are truly the best we tried while in Portugal - and we tried many lol! The place was packed with tourists, but well-staffed and with a tightly organized flow so that you didn’t have to wait...long at all. We order our pastries from the “to go” counter. The coffee counter was not in service so we grabbed Starbucks next door. Such a treat to enjoy the iconic Portuguese pastry straight from its place of origin.More

There’s a reason this place serves hundreds of thousands of these pastries a day. They truly are the best! We tried other Pasteis da Nata and did not love them. These are great. Not too yolky. Not too sweet. Perfect! You don’t need to stand...in the long line. That’s to get a table. Go to the take-away counter and you’ll have your sweet confections in minutes!More

A lovely bakery with take away and eat in options had a bit of a wait for a table. Inside was nice with smaller rooms or a terrace. Staff were friendly and the menu options were good. Pasteis de Belem were superb.

One of the two best places in Lisbon for Custard Tarts (Pasteis de Nata). Don’t be put off by the long lines. If you’re looking to simply buy and take away, the line is lightening fast.

Very unassuming. Looks small but as you venture inside this place just gets bigger and is massive. A tad confusing in terms of getting a table and service but overall a good experience. We tried a bunch of things for breakfast and it was quiet...when we showed up. Overall the food was decent, the pasteis were the best and the other items were good. A little expensive overall but a good place to try.More

A highlight of our trip to the Belém area. Yes, very touristy but a must do. The little custard tarts are delicious and beautifully presented even for takeaway. The queue to eat inside was enormous so we opted to buy from the take away counter....We enjoyed seeing the shop and the queue of people desperate to eat a custard tart! Located a 2 min walk away from the Jerónimos monastery. Highly recommended when in the area.More

I arrived to the opinion that it's nothing special, after i tried many different pastels during my 15 days stay in Portugal. Of course it's all about everyone's personal taste, so give a chance to other pastels before you go there. P.S. At keast eat...it straight there, but don't take it for laterMore

I would recommend, Pasteis de Belem, near the Mosteiro dos Jerónimos. I think these are the best one available in whole Lisbon.
