A simple pastry cream custard tart on a puff pastry base, yet so much love and adoration. The most typical are the ones from Belem for sure. But they are an institution, the shop makes tens of thousands of them a day, they have been...More

If you love the portuguese tarts and tiles, a pasteis de nata is a must from pasteis de belem. Combine this with a tram ride home

I’ve tried these pastries at other restaurants and it’s just not the same. You can only get them at this restaurant and it’s completely worth it.

Obviously very touristy but the egg tarts are the best I’ve ever tasted. The queue does move quickly and it’s worth the wait.

Nothing more to say than cracking Pasteis de Belem. Be prepared to queue but they are worth the wait. You might want to buy them in large quantities to save you having to return. Yummy!

I don't recall seeing eggs and things like those, but we had the pasteis, pastries and also chicken and beef empanadas... they do have options. So I guess it's a question of what falls into your category of breakfast.
