Was recommended this restaurant by our air bnb host and the food was great. We got 5 tapas between two of us and they were much bigger than expected, we could have done with 4. The Brie and raspberry jam was my favourite!!

We happened upon this great little restaurant by accident as we wandered around Alfama. Staff very friendly and helpful and the food was excellent. House wines also great. Perfect ambience.

The food was quite dry and over-priced. Location very nice, service was good. I really enjoyed the mushrooms with gorgonzola cheese! Next time I would pick another place though.

Very nice restaurant in a hidden area. It's not very budget like other places in Lissbon but thats also because you can immediately notice this difference in the food and the wine! Its very good and that's why you pay a little bit more, compared to other cities in europe still very cheap! The waiter was also very nice, cool... More

We took refuge here during a nasty rainy Sunday afternoon and what an amazing surprise. Best blood Sausage with Apple sauce ever -- and I don't like blood sausage generally. The Sautéed Prawns with Garlic are a must. I would pass on the octopus salad though. Delicious and light pudín Santo Antônio for dessert.

Discovered this Alfama restaurant by sheer happenstance while walking and starving and it didn't disappoint. Solid portions and affordable. See pics we took around restaurant on our walk.

Neighbourhood Profile
Castelo, Alfama & Mouraria
Explore narrow streets and alleyways, small cafes and, of course, the internationally acclaimed Fado music. The earth-shattering Great Earthquake of 1755 destroyed most of the city but the contiguous neighborhoods of Mouraria, Castelo and Alfama remained standing to this day. These neighborhoods represent Lisbon at its historical best. The cool breeze of the Tagus river will take you up the hills to the sound of Fado, where you'll discover the best "tascas," eat delicious fresh fish and drink great wines. Discover hidden viewpoints and ancient traces of other civilizational ruins in the heart of the Portuguese capital. These are centuries-old neighborhoods that will welcome you to the very best of old Lisbon culture.
