Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I enjoyed spending an hour relaxing at Copenhagen Coffee Lab during my exploration of Lisbon. The atmosphere is quaint and homey, and while some touch surfaces like chairs and the walls felt somewhat tired, the airiness of the place was a pleasant vibe.
The staff were not the most attentive, but they delivered friendly customer service when I encountered them. They speak fluent English as well as Portuguese. One worker in particular was very helpful when I needed help plugging in my phone. Kudos to the team!
The fare here is your standard coffeeshop/bakery/pastry selection, well-stocked with Portuguese tarts, of course. The prices were reasonable for the quality and flavor. Everything tasted fresh.
All in all, I’m sure anyone who visits this place will enjoy themselves!

Had high hopes for this place and especially the coffee but was disappointed. Firstly the staff were kind of grumpy like they were being inconvenienced by you being there. The coffee was weak and nothing special. I ordered the boiled eggs with rye bread and I got 1 tiny egg. If you are going to give only 1 egg maybe it should be a decent sized one! There was no salt or pepper given and the bread wasn’t buttered so overall the taste was bland.

We had the smashed avocado on toast.
The avocado actually tasted like avocado, which you’d think should be obvious but unfortunately isn’t. The bread was glorious. Seedy rye bread lightly toasted.
If the egg wasn’t over boiled and the prices steep, this could have been a five star review.

The place itself would be perfect to have a meeting and do some work on laptop, however the service is horrible. Unfriendly staff (I know we are in Portugal, but still). They can't be f*-ed to say something when you come in, always let you wait for nothing at the counter etc. They are uncooperative if you prefer your latte in a tall cup or glass, not in a capuccino cup that they serve everything in.
If you like acidy taste in bread, you might enjoy their rye bread. Further the menu is unimaginative as if it was drawn up by a hipster that wants his own place but can't cook.

The coffee tasted like dirt. The croissants are like those you can find in every supermarket and the pastry was very dry. We paid 10Eur for 2 americanos 1 croissant and 1 some sweet pastry. Very pricey, you can get the same quality and better taste for 1/2 of it. I asked for a sweetener and the answer was: we don't have it.
Do not recommend it.

This place was very disappointing. The lemonade was very watery and only had trace amounts of lemon - quite literally one of the worst, most diluted lemonades I’ve had. The avocado in the salads was very spotty and unappealing (see the photo) - for the prices charged, this was not acceptable. One of the staff members appeared to be rather annoyed at having to deal with guests. The other staff were fine, although they did forget to bring the order of one of our group. The rye bread was the only highlight - this was quite nice and the reason for the 2 stars. All in all, best to avoid. There are many other nicer places in Lisbon.

It’s a bit expensive compared to other cafe’s in Lisbon. They have fast WiFi, The focaccia was very good, & the flat white coffee was great. They have oat & almond milk which was nice. However, their are more authentic traditional cafe’s in Lisbon for less.

This excellent bakery-coffee shop is a great asset if you are in the upper Alfama area. It provides very good quality patisseries and well-filled sandwiches. It also offers brunch meals that can be eaten in the pleasant surroundings of the café or taken out. The cinnamon buns are fabulous, as are the almond croissants. We got breakfast here every day of our stay! We also had the well-filled salmon and avocado rolls for lunch on several days. Very much a tourist spot rather than authentic Portuguese but a great address for quality food.

We discovered this our second to last day in Lisbon and I’m BUMMED we didn’t find it sooner! Great coffee (no flavored syrups) and the first place besides Starbucks that we’ve found here that makes an actual iced latte! Most places use cold milk and put the shots on top, making it lukewarm. We also had pastries and breakfast and those were amazing, too! The bread they use for avocado bread is unique (more cake-like), but is seedy and tasty. The scrambled eggs on croissant were wonderful, too - lots of flavor. And the almond croissant and raspberry rolls were yummy!
The setting is beautiful - cave like interior and a beautiful back “patio” with good sun coverage and a peaceful ambiance.

This place opens at 8am everyday. It has a wide range of breakfast options from Greek Yogurt to rye bread, and sandwiches and eggs of your choice. The pastry style is different from traditional Portuguese one (which is way too oily and sweet by my standard). The food here is just right. Coffee is nice, too.
Big seating area both indoor and outdoor. Staff is friendly and helpful

I felt that prices were too high for what you get. An americano was 2.60 and a Cappuccino was 3.60. I asked for a splash of hot oat milk with my americano and was told that I'd have to pay extra. Not sure how much extra as I didn't get it. That being said the bread was good, but wouldn't be inclined to go back.

Terrible. The waitress got the coffees wrong, and she said we hadn't asked her. When we also specify several times the bread and the type of vegetable milk.
He started making faces, and lying.
He also put a medium toast and a portion of insufficient butter, and we left over when we asked for another.
Unfortunate service and treatment.
I would never come back.
Zero recommended.

Visited here twice on a recent trip to Lisbon as it was very close to where we were staying. Truly delicious coffee - i just had a cappuccino with oat milk but it was def up there with one of the nicest I've ever had!
Their hot sandwiches are also very tasty - as are their baked goods.
Service a little slow and prices not low but overall very nice :)

When we were looking for a simple sandwich and a cup of tea, this place saved us. Surrounded by touristy restaurants typically showing pictures of the dishes in boards outside or bakeries with little or no seating, this place is a breath of fresh air. The sandwiches and cakes are lovely and the staff friendly .
Recommended.

It's rare to stumble across speciality coffee in Lisbon so I was very glad when I found this place. My partner and I really enjoyed our cortado and iced coffee. It's a bit pricy to drink speciality coffee for €3 everyday when a coffee usually goes for 80 cents here, but great for when you want to treat yourself! Totally recommend. Great vibes and lovely staff
