Wonderful atmosphere in this Indian restauarant, where locals patiently waited outside in the rain for tables to become vacant and this out of season. The service was friendly and the food excellent.

Four of us went for supper. The service was good. The food was very good. Some of it could have been a bit spicier. The small beer was very small. Order the larger size. The atmosphere was casual and relaxed. We recommend this restaurant.

Worth of visit: Great indian food in nice and cosy atmosphere! Small place, hard to find free table. Good value for money. Definitely we shall visit again this restaurant during our stay in Lisbon.

The space is very small, and as it is popular, gets to be claustrophobic. the experience is worth it because the food is good and the price is reasonable. Our party enjoyed the prawn biryani, prawn curry, prawn brinjal curry, and spinach paneer curry. All good and enjoyed with naan roti. Food aside, parking was a nightmare though!

Good Indian food, very typical neighborhood, great price, what more could you ask for? Attentive service , simple . Neighborhood restaurant with lots of tourists but also many locals. Near the most beautiful sights of Lisbon. The bill is a pleasant surprise.

Nice place where to have good Indian dishes. Might be a bit spicy depending on chosen meals. Fast service, good food and cheap.

This restaurant is a little difficult to find, because it is in a small street in the Graça neighborhood, but if you are near around dinner time, it is worth trying to find it. It offers Goan food (Goa being the Portuguese colony in India), which is basically Indian cuisine with a few special dishes. You will be able to... More

Haweli Tandoori is the best Indian restaurant in Lisbon, serving delicious chamacas either vegetable or meet ones, shrimp's curry and all classical Indian dishes. Service is impeccable and fast, restaurant is simple and has been recently and nicely renovated. My favourite also thanks to great value for money. A no miss in Lisbon for who loves nice food. Highly recommended.

Staying in Graca & Sao Vicente

Neighbourhood Profile
Graca & Sao Vicente
You can be thankful that most common travel guides don't mention Graça and São Vicente that often. Part of Lisbon's historic center and "Old Town", they feel like independent villages in the capital's center, and more untouched than Alfama. Amazing views, restaurants and parks, as well as important monuments like the S. Vicente Church and the National Pantheon, make this a spectacular option for those looking for a more tranquil walk-around in the center of Lisbon. Graça has been the choice of many younger people over the past years, both nationals and expats, given the cozy feeling of the neighborhood and its hidden secrets.
