We came here by ferry which wasn't too difficult or expensive. The walk from the ferry to the restaurant was quite picturesque with the view of Lisbon and the river at your right. You can continue enjoying this view as you dine in the restaurant. The food is nothing special compared to what you can find in the rest of... More

I just had a red berry sangria here - which was wonderful! The location is quite beautiful - perfect for a romantic meeting: the sunset over the river was fabulous :-)

A short ferry ride from Lisbon takes you across to Atira-te. It is about a 15 minute walk from the ferry. It is not among the cluster of restaurants you will see when you first come off the ferry. Walk upriver to the point of land and you will find this special restaurant. Not your basic Portuguese food but the... More

+ staff is very friendly + the menu offers a good but not too large variation of local food and excellent quality + very nicely located by the sea + superbe view on Lisbon + kids can play at the beach while the parents can enjoy the dinner while closely observing the kids - getting there might appear strange if... We had a really lovely lunch here on a Saturday - sat in the sun with that great view & good food. We liked the whole package - found service friendly, good choice of drinks and just the perfect spot for a lazy, slightly boost lunch. Gets pretty busy at the weekend - we arrived just before they opened at... More

What a fabulous place. We received a recommendation for the restaurant during a short stay in Portugal. A short ferry ride from Lisbon to Almada and a 10 minute walk along the quay towards the bridge over the river and you reach this small, intimate restaurant after passing a lot of old warehouse space covered in graffiti (don't be put... The best meal that I've had for a long time. The kids loved it too! The menu was imaginative and the food was very fresh. The staff were very attentive and passionate about their food. Of course the view is great and worth the ferry trip just over the river from Lisbon.

Having a lovely view means nothing when you have a horrible table service, the food is just ok, it is expansive and you can't have a drink in the afternoon unless you have dinner right away!!! Tourist trap! It's a shame because it coud be good, if professionals worked there.
