The place is amazing! Interior is a little bit strange at first but later you find that it makes it cozy and outstanding. I've never met such a great owner! He is the heart of Wanli. I strongly recommend to step inside for a glass of wine.

Popped in for a drink after dinner. Loved the relaxed atmosphere and quirky interior! The owner was such a cool, sweet guy! He gave us free cheese and meat snacks to accompany our delicious wine! We were so relaxed it was hard to leave! Very reasonably priced too!

Feels like being your living room. It's quite an unusual bar and has a great atmosphere! Drinks are good and affordable.

Wanli is a very small bar just down the street from our apartment. With various comfy seating areas it is more like a quirky friend's living room than a typical drinking establishment. The drink menu is somewhat limited, but the house specialty of a rosé Port with a slice of lemon is surprisingly good after a long day of wandering... More

The decoration is vintage and very cool (everything was collected by the owner for himself, it seems like a small museum of his old belongings), the music is perfect for the decoration, the owner is not the typically nice host but when we asked about the music or a recommendation for the wine we were pleased (and the wine was... This hidden treasure in the heart of Madragoa neighbourhood is the ideal place if you look for a cosy and calm place to chill out with a glass of wine in the evening. Located in an old house that survived the disastrous 1755 earthquake, WANLI offers the typical charme of ancient Lisbon, yet stands out for its individual vintage decoration.... More

This is a real feature of Santos. The owner is charming and knows much local history. Just come here, chill and be real. This is such a nice space....and there are great local restaurants nearby too...

This quirky neighbourhood bar was directly under our apartment otherwise we might not have found it on our 6 day trip to Lisbon! Slightly off the beaten track but definitely worth a look!! It's like an antique shop or museum with trinkets and curiosities on every surface and wall! We stopped for a bottle of wine or two here most... More

if you like quiet charm and quirky surroundings this is a must. This bar is like a mini museum of paraphernalia...it could amuse you for days with every curiosity having its own little piece of the bar. The beer is cheap, the cakes (a little over 5 euro but awesome) are served in large portions. Whilst relaxed Jazz and Blues... More
