Great little kiosk in a park of Alfama with a stunning view of the Tagus. Good produce and very nice service, the waiters speak several languages and the customers are a mix of internationals and locals.

Love this kiosque in the middle of the garden to read a book, having your morning coffee or a french toast for a quick lunch. Great music and friendly staff.

We stayed in an Airbnb next to the park as we required free parking in Lisbon so we were lucky to call this place our 'local' for a few days. It's buzzing on Tuesdays and Saturdays for the Feira de Ladra flea market. We had breakfast here most days with a fresh croissant 1€ and great coffees and fresh orange... More

Walking in Lisbon it can be very tiring, but are places like this that are worth it to visit! Big trees will provide shade and the view on the river it brings calmness!

My husband and I came here for coffee and a sandwich after the recommendation of our AirBnB host. It did not disappoint! Very relaxing little cafe in the middle of an authentic Portuguese park. The elderly men playing cards nearby and the children playing on the swing set added to the atmosphere :) We shared the smoked salmon sandwich, which... More

We visited Clara Clara when exploring the flea market in Lisbon. The women who work there were very helpful in translating the menu into English for us (they probably saw us struggling through out Portuguese phrase book!) and we ordered the Clara toastie (goats cheese and smoked ham) and a cheese and ham toastie. Both were simple but lovely and... More

clara clara is a wonderful oasis in a small neighborhood park in the area of campo santa clara, which is the site for the tuesday/saturday feira da ladra. no matter the day, it is a perfect setting for starting a day off in the right direction with morning cafe and cake or pastries, especially in the springtime when the jacaranda... An oasis of tranquillity at the edge of Alfama. Situated in a small park it offers an outstanding place to relax and soak in a little of local Lisbon flavour. Best coffee in town, good croissants and excellent sandwiches.

I stumbled upon this quaint park cafe on a walk through Alfama. I was so glad to find it! Gorgeous setting with a beautiful view. Fantastic menu for the money - I had the goats cheese salad two days in a row washed down with some lovely sparkling wine for 1.50euro. Bargain! We also tasted the cakes which were fresh... More

Simple fare, we had fresh juice, croissants and great coffee. Extremely friendly staff, and the setting in the Jardin de Botto . The views are superb.

Staying in Graca & Sao Vicente

Neighbourhood Profile
Graca & Sao Vicente
You can be thankful that most common travel guides don't mention Graça and São Vicente that often. Part of Lisbon's historic center and "Old Town", they feel like independent villages in the capital's center, and more untouched than Alfama. Amazing views, restaurants and parks, as well as important monuments like the S. Vicente Church and the National Pantheon, make this a spectacular option for those looking for a more tranquil walk-around in the center of Lisbon. Graça has been the choice of many younger people over the past years, both nationals and expats, given the cozy feeling of the neighborhood and its hidden secrets.
