Brilliant local place hidden behind nondescript entrance. Stop by the little blackboard menu on the wall outside. No other way of knowing its there. Packed to the rafters inside and that's because the food is excellent. Fish or meat, seafood or salad, absolutely top notch...More

I eat un excelent "cozido à portuguesa" but you find always high quality in fish and meat. The service is excelent and at the end what you pay for the meal is a very good surprise.

The Adega da abairrada is a traditional restaurant with several options. We tasted the pernil cozido, the ex-libris, but unfortunately is only good. It is served with grelos ( good) and with traditional sausages ( weak). The dessert seems ok but we didn't try.

The restaurant becomes small for the amount of Portuguese people who choose it. The food is good and it's quite traditional in nature. The staff was very nice.

The restaurant is very big and full, it tends to became a bit noisy. The service is fairly quick and efficient. The menu is mainly made of tipical Portuguese food, with well served and made portions. Will repeat again for shure

Splendid Food. Busy bussling atmosphere. It is not a posh place, but neither too rough. To me, a classic Portuguese restaurant run by a family of unpretentious hard working people. It is clean and the service was excellent and full of energy. The kitchen is...More
