We stopped here for dinner one evening and it was wonderful! They have a very nice selection of wines. The menu is fun to look at because they have some really interesting items paired together. Especially the starters. So many choices you can't go wrong. From very delicious quail eggs with chorizo, warm cheeses and melt in your mouth seafood.... More

Stopped for lunch when looking for something off the beaten track close to the Jerónimos Monastery and the Belém Tower. This was a fantastic choice. Quiet, great food and super attentive service. Also a wine shop. We shared, succulent brochettes of pork m, grilled chorizo and the most amasing squid. Their wine choices were equally good. Sometimes the little things... More

As we live nearby we ate there already few times, both for lunch and dinner. The place is nice and cosy, the service attentive and friendly and there is a good choice of modern Portuguese dishes. Option of sharing different small plates is great when going with more people. We will be back!

Excellent food and the decoration is stylish and cosy. The food was delicious and very Portuguese, specially the piglet, the duck and also the squid. Located in Belem near the Centro Cultural de Belem we went for Lunch and Dinner and loved both. The owner kindly gave us some nice wooden wine boxes to take as a souvenir which was... More

A few miles outside of downtown Lisbon near the Belem Tower. Enjoyed our dinner but nothing exceptional. Interesting concept that they are attached to a wine store, so you actually select your wine from the store and they add it to your bill. Restaurant is right on a main tram line so if you are adventurous and are staying in... More

Very nice surprise- casual lunch stop turned into a gourmet experience. Great wine list to be tasted by the glass, many exotic dishes a bit different than in the rest of Lisbon, superbe deserts (figues au Porto) - rounded up by very friendly staff.

Fabulous food in a relaxed environment. Very good service. And they have their own wine shop to find the best wine for your meal. We'll be back!

very nice place to eat. The main comes on a plate on its own so you need to order a side dish or two. We had the salmon and the duck with 2 sides to share and we were totally stuffed :) They bring you bread to the table after they have asked for your drinks order. The bread comes... More

Staying in Belem

Neighbourhood Profile
Belém is the "capital of the Portuguese Discoveries" and a photographer's paradise. You can spend an entire day exploring this neighborhood: monuments (Jerónimos Monastery, Belém Tower, Monument to the Discoveries), museums (Coach Museum, Centro Cultural de Belém) and breathtaking views of the Tagus river will make your visit worth your time. Belém also offers a variety of restaurants and cafes, namely the famous - and delicious - "Pastéis de Belém" (typical Portuguese custard tarts; make sure you buy an extra box of those!). Easily accessible from Lisbon's historic center, Belém is a must-do, especially if you're spending more than one day visiting the Portuguese capital.
