Skip the offered appetizers and go straight to the grilled fish. It was amazing. 5 of us shared 3 fish...all different. It came with wonderful rice, veggies and a lovely salad. It was a great record mendation. Great staff who helped us choose. Just 20 euros per person including beer for each of us.

I was kind of forced to go there with a big group of other people. The meal started of with a cheap version of the usual appetizers - low quality ham and dull cheese. The bread was OK. Since the restaurant apparently can't afford menus, I just ordered some grilled fish. The fish which was dry, and accompanied by cold... More

The seabass was amazing. Really big plate. My sister order the rice with mariscos and was impressive. Services simples but good. But please , don't order the house wine . Trust me !

Small, cosy and with excellent service. The food was genuine and we got a really good memory from here. Will absolutely be back as soon as possible.

We had lunch here after enjoying the Lisbon bike tour. Excellent grilled fish and a nice view from the first floor balcony. The waiter was quite keen on us trying the fish for 2 people and suggested when we ordered that the simple grilled fish was a bit small. It was not! We had one sea bream and one sea... More

Good food and friendly, flexible service. Premises not very special but the location by the sea outweighs this by far.

Right at the waterside we did enjoy twice a delicious seafood lunch. First time seabrass, second time fresh turbot. Both plain grilled, served with a simple salad. Honest, very fresh and tasty food. Pleasant service Right next to "Padrao dos Descobrimentos" statue.

A magnificent view of Tagus River, good prices and, you can be sure, if you choose fish, it is fresh, as if it was just arrived from the sea brought by "traineiras" directly to your plate. Enjoy!

A delightful restaurant if seafood is your thing!! We ordered the house special Paella which was amazing fresh mix of prawns/lobster/crab/squid - washed down with a lovely white Douro - highly recommended

Staying in Belem

Neighbourhood Profile
Belém is the "capital of the Portuguese Discoveries" and a photographer's paradise. You can spend an entire day exploring this neighborhood: monuments (Jerónimos Monastery, Belém Tower, Monument to the Discoveries), museums (Coach Museum, Centro Cultural de Belém) and breathtaking views of the Tagus river will make your visit worth your time. Belém also offers a variety of restaurants and cafes, namely the famous - and delicious - "Pastéis de Belém" (typical Portuguese custard tarts; make sure you buy an extra box of those!). Easily accessible from Lisbon's historic center, Belém is a must-do, especially if you're spending more than one day visiting the Portuguese capital.
