Best gelato I have had worldwide, and comparable to Italy. While strolling Lisbon, my husband and I stumbled across this gem of an ice cream/gelato parlor. The service was great, gelato even better (raspberry, vanilla, dulce de leche, pistachio, and dark chocolate), and the espresso was delicious. I only downside - is it is not located in Florida!!

Great selection of gelato and sorbets! Difficult to choose flavors, but server helped pick out good combos. Very nice after a heavy Portuguese dinner! Recommend during a stroll down the Rua Augusta!

Hi, Thank you for the good evaluation! Your opinion is really important to us. We all know how Portuguese food can be heavy and we’re glad our gelato helped! Hope you can come back to visit soon! Best regards, Amorino Lisboa More

Someone had recommended this ice cream parlor and whenever we walked past it was full of people. Once at an odd time it was empty and we didn't hesitate: great ice cream! Get a scoop...or better two!

The best ice cream I ate it in Europe. And I ate ... I recommend the pistachio, salted caramel, chocolate, cock. And hot chocolate was good. In four days I stayed in Lisbon as we returned here every day, no matter where ... Even before departure we wanted to go grab an icecream, it was Saturday and opens at 10.30.... More

The ice cream itself is delicious, but the highlight is the flower shaped ice cream cone. My God, this is so beautiful we even think if we should ruin it eating, but fact is it's too yummy to resist!

There are many gelato outlets in the city, but this one seemed to have a few more flavours than most. Sizes to suit all bellies, from 3.50euros to a gut busting 9.50euros! Must try!

Read reviews here on tripadvisor before going to Lisbon. Heard a lot of good things so my fianće and i had to try it. Wasn't a fan of the pistachio ice cream but the coconut, salted caramel, dolce de leche and chocolate ice cream was delicious. The thing that lets this place down is the girl who served us. She... Dear Amy. Thanks a lot for your review, this is extremely useful. We take service extremely seriously, as we like to think it should be as good or even better than our ice cream. Indulge yourself with pure artisanal Italian ice-cream. A choice of 24 flavors (20 in winter!), with the best and most natural ingredients sourced from around the globe. For any cone size, get as many flavors as you like, shaped as a flower. When it's more chilly, warm yourself with hot chocolates and other hot drinks, crepes and waffles. Enjoy inside on the sofas, or outside on the terrace.

Staying in Baixa, Rossio & Restauradores

Neighbourhood Profile
Baixa, Rossio & Restauradores
A pending candidate to become a World Heritage Site, Lisbon's downtown (the "Baixa Pombalina", or simply "Baixa") is a perfect example of anti-earthquake construction, having been rebuilt following the 1755 earthquake by the famous Marquês de Pombal (hence its name). Its offer is vast: restaurants and cafes in Rossio and Restauradores, outlets and shops in the Áurea, Augusta, Prata and other famous streets, the imponent Praça do Comércio and its Arch, the luxury shops along the Avenida da Liberdade, this is the beating heart of the city center. The Baixa also grants easy access to trains leading to Sintra, the trams that go around the Castle hill, old neighborhoods or even take you to Belém, and Lisbon's traditional restaurants and cafes. Considering a visit to the Fashion and Design Museum (free entrance) and don't forget to try the famous liquor, "ginjinha"!
