Fado artists played only 3 songs and then had a long break. They continued playing and singing after 20 minutes with another 3 songs and so on - I think the breaks were far too long and we got bored of waiting for another set...to start. Food was okay, but nothing special. We ordered bread with butter for starters, and then octopus, muscles, tomato and strawberry salad, sweet potato salad with goat cheese (which was amazing, I highly recommend this dish). For dessert we had a fruit salad, which I would not order again. For drinks we had sangrias - they were nothing special, could be better. The restaurant charges 4€ per person for artistic fees. The atmosphere was lovely and our waitress Carolina was super nice.More

Very, very touristy. Fado was nice but not amazing.Food poor quality and the meal for one member of our family never even arrived. We left early. Staff were trying hard but it’s just not well managed. I know we are tourists but this was bad...even for a tourist restaurantMore

Staff are brilliant, super friendly and if you treat them nicely they are your best friend too. Great location and highly recommend.

The place is nice, but food is less than average and overpriced. Shrimps with garlic were the worst I ever ate and the 18 euros sangria was also the worst ever tasted. Service also was not great, we ordered bread, but it never arrived on...the table ;-) Dirty bathroomsMore

The menu that you can find in the fork and in TripAdvisor is not the same that it is in the restaurant. I wanted the Setubal friend codfish and the chocolate cake with green tea ice cream as in this menu and there weren't. I...only really enjoyed the fado music. I will not come back again.More

This restaurant offers a Fado show in the evening, so it is advisable to book a table. The food is good and the service friendly and efficient. The Fado show is rather short with long intermissions, but it gives a nice touch to the evening.

Had a great evening at this place before i headed out for dinner. There was nice live fado performance the night i visited. Sam, Ines, Maddie were really kind and attentive. The place did not have much vegetarian options. The cocktails were quite decent.

Casual dining – wine and tapas. Delicious shrimp and mussels. Fado music was wonderful; everyone was quiet and attentive while the accordion, viola, guitar and vocalist performed. Excellent service. Nice location on ‘The Pink Street’. Reserve ahead.

Make reservations on The Fork! Then get ready for horrible service and a bit nasty! . Order drinks and some tapas while you are being seated or better yet sit at the bar. The Fado and the food are both good. The bathrooms are a...long trip down a staircase. We enjoyed our evening.More

My husband and I visited here for a drink. When we asked for a cocktail, the waiter (who was surly and unwelcoming from he very start) told us we couldn’t have one because the cocktail waiter wasn’t there. This was fine and I said ok...we’ll go elsewhere. He huffed and puffed and said he’ll see if he can make them. 20 minutes later we were still sat there. I went inside and very politely asked if the drinks were on the way, as we had a dinner reservation to get to. He then bought the drinks out and told me “what you did then was not correct!” He accused me of using the wrong tone, and I did no such thing! I have never been rude to wait staff in my life, I work in the service industry myself and have never misspoken to a waiter. I told him he was very rude and he proceeded to complain about making my cocktail, claiming “it was very difficult for him to make!” To which I sarcastically replied “well I apologise from ordering something on your menu!” I couldn’t believe how rude he was, I have never ever received such terrible rude service ever! I am shocked!More

The night we went, there were 2 times - 8 p.m or 10 pm. You need to get your meal before the FADO starts.
