Probably not a place that I would go out of my way to find but ok if you are passing. Food and service were fine - nothing special.

Early stroll brought as here, they were recommended by a nearby local. We had eggs with ham, with sausage. The eggs were good, but sausage was really terrible. Soft, overcookes and wrinkled. Also salad has seen better days...
I have visited this little café bar a number of times over the years and I have never been disappointed. Good beer, good coffee & nice snacks have always been the order of the day and I shall look forward to my next visit.
Early-ish on a Sunday morning we were strolling along Avenida da Liberdade and looking for a place to eat breakfast. This unassuming little Leitaria on Avenida was a great find. The food, beer, coffee are excellent and cheap for the very centre of Lisbon. All the waiters are friendly and professional - Paulo is outstanding and very proficient. I thoroughly recommend this place for breakfast, lunch or just a drink
Staff were very good, with timely service. Food good - local dishes with choices from daily menu of the day. Lunchtimes were very busy with tables quickly filled up by local office workers - a good sign!! Waiters were patient and explained dishes well. Also went outside mealtimes for coffee and the pasties were delicious!
We game by this little restaurant om our way back to our hotel. And decided to enjou our lunch hede. The placeret is local an creates fine food for small amount.
