I used this restaurant twice as I stayed in the hotel. The food is excellent and not expensive but the service is very slow. I recommend their spaghetti Bolognese.

Me and my wife had a lovely dinner at Cantina but when the check came I wondered how much I was going to tip - the service was top notch. Turns out they have a "choose what you want" tip system, and according to all the young people I spoke outside the boss keeps it. And the minimum is 2.50...... More

We were staying in the hotel and thought that we would all try the restaurant. We had read about it's links to Eleven and the interesting minimum and maximum pricing concept of the menu, where each dish you paid for based on satisfaction. My dad, brother and I had the Tournedo meat dish which was absolutely outstanding, the flavours were... More

Great glass of wine and excellent olives followed my amuse bouche of smoked salami and cheese. Great choice of mains. Went for suckling pig which was amazing. Colleague had tuna with... More

The place was nice, but not awesome. The food in general was tasty, but some dishes were were more beautiful than it tasted. Although, some of the dishes were spectacular, like "Polvo grelhado com batata doce" and "Arroz de Polvo". 5 stars for originality, because it is the client that chooses what to pay per dish, starter, desert... based on... We are staying at this school converted hotel. Everything is school-themed , which is very charming. The restaurant is no exception. Its menu is a checklist of sorts, and there's a suggested range of prices for each dish, as a form of evaluation (you pay a lower amount for dishes you deem not satisfactory, and a higher one for ones...
