A good stop for a meal of local food, fish or chicken. A mix of locals sitting at the bar and tourists seated eating. Food is good and very reasonable value. Our friends both had chicken and wife and I had seafood. Seafood was good...but the large portions of piri piri chicken our companions had made us very jealous!More
Always my to-go place while in Lisbon. Great food (especially octopus and shrimps), nice atmosphere (busy, but nice service).
Walked by this place during the day and they we drew grilling nice sardines on the bbq, just what we were looking for. All the restaurants here are super busy, the good ones and the bad ones so it really is a hit and miss...when choosing a place to eat. We enjoyed two plates of sardines with potato and salad, they tasted good and grilled very well, bottle of house wine euro 8. So can’t go wrongMore
Great place for a solo travelers! Traditional food with a good value! Very busy with tourist this days but still a great place to enjoy your grilled portuguese chicken and another dishes!
Very basic food, overcrowded, sitting same table with the loud strangers, prices average, tourist trap
This restaurant has nothing to do with the typical and genuine Portuguese food. It’s just another tourist trap, low food quality, dirty and no attention for the customer. Do not waste your precious time in Lisbon and look for an authentic restaurant if you are...a food lover.More
More than 5 years I visit this place everytine I go to lisbon! Amazing food and great value , staff is fast professional it’s authentic and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to enjoy tasty traditional meal . Niko is amazing waiter ,...greetings from me and my boyfriend! CheersMore
Great food at a very low price. Looks like lots of locals in the restaurant, which is always a good sign. The baked cod special was amazing, a simple yet delicious meal.
Tipic place in lisboa to eat fish and meat. Good quality. So cheaper considering to be in Lisboa downtown. Keep in mind if you will come in Lisboa
In Lisbon recently, having lost track of time, we ended up looking for somewhere to eat fairly late at night. Remembered eating here four years earlier and loving the unpretentious atmosphere and excellent local food. Couldn't believe it when they were still open and serving...at midnight! Menu was (understandably) limited to what they had left, but we had the most amazing chilli garlic prawns, a dish of clams and a half-bottle of white wine, all of which perfectly hit the spot. Most of all we were extremely grateful to them for accommodating us so late at night... My loyalty is now confirmed. We will be back!More
Expected so much more. Chicken extremely dry and tasteless . No salt and pepper on the table. Salad limp with hardly any dressing and just made up of a few soggy lettuce leaves, tasteless tomatoes and shards of opinion. We couldn’t wait to leave. Only...positive ,waiter very friendly and food served fast.More
Nothing fancy about this place and you have to sit a communal tables but let me tell you the food is incredible. Great and friendly service. Will be going back again.
1)i ordered the grilled shrimps and I was literally served 3 shrimps with chips. Paid 14€ for this dish 2) waited 25 mins to be served 3)the only thing that was missing from the floor was me. Disgustingly dirty floor. Just avoid
We missed the entrance twice, so don't worry, you might. It's a tight and small place with smell of food everywhere. There are 4 unseparrated tables in each row and you'll be seated literally next to some strangers. At first it was really strange, but...until the end of evening we loved it. We had grilled octopus, it comes with potatoes and salad and it was one of best ever! The staff is really friendly and they definintely do not spare the wine! Completely different experience, but loved it!! :) A must go in Lisbon.More
