This is a tiny restaurant (16 places), with excellent Portuguese cuisine. Good place to eat after visiting the S. Jorge Castle. The proprietor was multi-lingual (certainly English & French + Portuguese), though the menu was not. The menu was limited, but I had no problem...More

Although they do not have english menu, we were well informed about the choices and it was all clear. You have a choice of appr 8-10 dishes but you can make sure that anything you pick will be a good choice. Very delicious food with...More

We were on our way to another restaurant when we came across this tiny gem of a restaurant. I say tiny because it can only seat 12 people. It is tucked away beside the city castle wall right in the corner. Blink and you will...More

My wife, Kim, and I stopped for lunch. Run by a wife and husband, Claras em Castelo has richly prepared-to-order seafood dishes and charcuterie and cheese plates. Don't forget the desserts made on the premises! Beer and wine complement your meal. Intimate and altogether charming.

We’ve tasted bachalau with milk, bachalau with onions and salmon with Porto. Everything was delicious! Highly recommended. If you want wine, I suggest you to order green wine.. very tasty!

Had dinner at this gem of a restaurant. Very small total of 12 seats, but cooking was amazing and priced affordably. We had the Cod special and it was perfect! Service was great and would definitely recommend.

We dined here twice during our week in Lisbon. The menu was small but innovative and the service was very warm and friendly. They make great cocktails and the waiter took the time to help us in our selection of local wines to complement our...More

While we didn't get to eat here (even though the food smelled amazing) we came repeatedly for drinks because they were so good. They have a great selection of craftbeers and the cocktails were wonderful. I love the little outside seating area and everyone who...More
