Very enjoyable...Fado singers were great, but don't make a sound...They will get upset... food wasn't that great. Veal was very tough...but it was a fun evening to spend in Lisbon price was reasonable for what you get with the entertainment.

We (5 friends) booked a "fado evening" in this location. What an experience! The place is so little - but somehow familiar, you feel like among friends... Most of fado performers are amateurs (the restaurant staff included!) - but they are truly dedicated and we...More

The Fado was good, the waiters very friendly but the food was simply awful, overcooked, spoilt with garlic and tasteless (in spite of the garlic). Fries were fat chips, sorry guys, 150€ for 4 people was a bad tourist joke. You should invest more!

Booked this Fado performance and dinner on the recommendation of Rick Steves. It provided an evening of great fun. The $25 per person minimum is easy to meet with drinks and dinner. The food was okay--I particularly liked the Chouriço, but the entertainment is the...More

I don't know if there are any truly authentic Fado places left, but this felt very close to it. Having started out evening at restaurant with a Fado singer who customers weren't listening to, I walked the streets of Alfama and luckily hit upon A...More
