Loved this restaurant so much I ate there twice on my trip. The first time I had paella and the second the lamb. I got house red wine and it was gorgeous. Their bread is yummy.

Disappointed tonight. The paella for two was completely underwhelming. Rubber squid. Tasteless. But the shrimp cocktail appetizer had plenty of taste - fishy beyond belief, unfortunately. Not returning.

This place is a happening! Good lord. Entertainment at it’s finest….the servers are totally entertaining and efficient. All the tables are close to one another and everyone totally enjoying the place. It’s not a quiet romantic place but it is alive and totally enjoyable. We...had great meals and excellent service.More

A local in Alfama recommended this restaurant to us for our last meal in Lisbon before we returned home to the states. We had high expectations based on his recommendation and upon arrival, it appeared lovely with outdoor seating in a beautiful plaza. That is...about where the good review ends. Seated in the back of the crowded inside portion of the restaurant we were immediately served over-toasted rolls with butter which is so funny bc Lisbon has some of the best fresh bread i have ever tasted in Europe other than France! My shrimp and lobster in curry had plenty of lobster and shrimp, but they were just floating in a huge pot of curry that looked like Bile, no vegetables, very unappetizing looking. My friend's Paella looked pretty but the flavors were not what we expected and again, very generous with the seafood...but it was a bit rubbery. Peeking at the next table, they had a big pot of some type of pasta dish and it was so obviously the boxed Penne pasta you get for 99 cents a box!!! Here is the reason why I give it two stars...the bathrooms were disgusting. Dirty toilets, dirty floors and sink filled with wet toilet paper. On way back up the flights of stairs to restaurant...the floors were filthy and my stomach turned when I saw a few shrimp heads lying at the landing. Portugal has the cleanest bathrooms we had ever seen, so it made me wonder what the heck was going on in their kitchen. Avoid this place unless you just stop for a drink to sit outside in the plaza.More

We ate here our first trip to Lisbon and loved it. The atmosphere is lively and the service is great as is the food. Only drawback is that it has become expensive.

We just ate there tonight. The location is great, the outdoor patio is beautiful, there service was friendly and great but the food is where they lost us. We have had seafood every day for the past few days and it has been incredible until...this restaurant. They don't clean the shrimp. The seafood was mediocre which is sad for being in Lisbon where the seafood is so fresh. Many hotels recommend this but I would look elsewhere.More

What a magnificent experience. Everything is so fresh and yummy. Ask for the clams and the prawns, the grilled squid and the Pinoquio pica pau. The terrace is great with a view to the Restauradores square.

I ordered the grilled Sole fish. It turned out the fish was too salty. It was discussing. The service was poor, no one communicated to us about this fish especially that they knew we were not locals. They didn’t even tried to offer us something...else’s. The prices were high. My husband ordered the seafood Paella, that was good.More

Good Portuguese food although nothing spectacular. Most of the tables are outside so it is a pleasant place to eat. It can get quite busy. The peak seems to be at about 19h30. So beat is to go at 19h or after 20h.

Was recommended by chef friends. Was a good dinner with my family. Food was fresh, wine was good, and service was also good. Sat outside for the fresh air and pleasant view of the plaza. A bit on the pricey side but I believe is...acceptable. They have big menu. There are no reservations, so come early to get a table.More

This is a very busy restaurant on weekend’s but less so during the week. The food was delicious and portions are generous. We started with the seafood soup which was very flavorful with pieces of shrimp on the bottom. We then moved on to the...paella for two which was prepared excellent with many pieces a prawns, clams and squid. The dish was large and probably dish for one could be shared. The restaurant is busy, service is quick and has a cool vibe. It is located near the end of Ave de Libertade heading towards the river.More

This place was recommended by two people on our first day in Lisbon. It did not disappoint! My husband and I each ordered the roasted cod with potatoes and garlic, and honestly should have split one dish. We had ordered a fresh salad beforehand, which...was also good. We had to take home the other whole fillet for another meal. The meal was delicious, and a very traditional Portuguese dish!More
