Really Excellent eatery with the very Best Piri Piri Chicken we've ever had. During a 3 night stay in Lisbon we ate dinner here twice it was that good. The staff are friendly and the food is excellent. We sat outside on both nights. I...had a half Bottle of the Vinho Verde which was fantastic value at €9. The chicken with good fries cost €9.50. We shared a half chicken, two starters and a large sparkling water. Total was less than 20 euros. Chicken was juicy and flavorful. I am extremely picky. This was a great meal. Sad that someone complained that the chicken came in 4-5 minutes and was...thus "precooked". They clearly don't understand how restaurants work. If there is a main meal that they expect are ordered often, they will start roasting this early in the day. I hate to see bad reviews for hard working and great tasting restaurants. I highly recommend the place.More

Went here for lunch with my family after hearing all about the peri peri chicken at Bonjardim. We sat outside and orders were soon taken. We ordered as expected, peri peri chicken with chips. I could not believe how something so simple that I have...had all the time in the UK could be so tasty. The skin of the chicken is incredibly salty and crispy in contrast to the soft meat on the inside. It was a joy to eat and was probably some of the best chicken I have ever eaten (I have eaten a lot of chicken). On top of that, there is a peri peri sauce/oil which you can put on top of your chicken which adds so much flavour. For me it was stunning - something so simple had become something so spectacular. A must go for chicken lovers!More

Wow, what a place. The food is spectacular, the service is fabulous. Get there early, because they queue around the block later in the evening to get in. We were only in Lisbon for a week, but we had to go back here for dinner...again, and if I was in Lisbon now, it's where I would be going for dinner tonight.More

Again this was a late night chance find for my husband and I. The menu was sparse, but as we love chicken we ordered it. OMG we were not disappointed, the chicken was awesome crispy skin and juicy meat. It was sensational. The staff were...so lovely, please go if you are in Lisbon it is not worth missing.More

Great service! Very attentive waiter. Chicken was very flavorful but unfortunately I didn’t like the creamed spinach at all - strange texture and tasted bitter but I’m also a very picky eater. 5 stars for chicken and service, I’ll be back!
