I've heard a lot about this place and been there twice, but couldn't understand the hype around it. You can find more interesting bars in the area.

So, Went there with a group of friends, we were having a really good night. The music was great, the place is super cool. Until I try to buy drinks! In short: the barmaid was rude. Apparently they decide if you pay the drinks separately or all together, they don't hear what you explained , and when you explain again... More

Good for a relaxing early evening seating in the comfortable surroundings. Good cocktails and spirit selection. It does get lively at the end of the evening for a real contrast.

Cool decor, good music and friendly staff. Appears to be one of the more interesting bars in Bairro Alto. It's on the list for a longer visit next time.

We went there because Lonely Planet recommended this place. We came there for a drink after dinner. Maybe it was too early for the portuguese people but it was not mucht frequented at that time. The interior has a few couches and the walls are full of maps of the world that make it look like a good place for... More

We were there early in the evening by Portuguese standards, so I can't speak to the vibe when it is really hopping, but the bartenders were very friendly and competent (fantastic Negroni and Gin & Tonics) and the decor eclectic but interesting (old school maps on the walls, comfy old chairs, what appeared to be old, industrial bakery equipment). A... More

Wonderful low-key bar in Barrio Alto - quiet enough to have a conversation or read a book. Good music. Couches, tables, etc. spread out through multiple rooms. Very cozy!

Nice portuguese retro style decoration and very well illuminated. Great music (dj's) selection too. This bar is the one you must not skip in Bairro Alto.
