The tour driver we hired took us to this restaurant, could not be better, we were in a group of six people. Cozy and comfortable restaurant with regional decor. Traditional dishes are served in the restaurant. The restaurant has a décor that dates back to the ancient times of the saloia region, with walls covered with wheels of carts and... More

Traditional portuguese restaurant with very friendly and professional staff. We came here for sunday lunch. Food is simple but very well prepared. Presunto which was proposed as a petisco was very smooth and tasty. I can recommend the borrego (braised mutton) as a main platter. It was delicious. Service was fast. Decor is typical old fashioned portuguese with the hams... More

We had lunch here during the December 1 holiday. Our party of four arrived at 1:00 PM and were promptly seated. When we left there were people waiting to be seated. Two of our party had the grilled fish, one had the octopus and one had the grilled pork. The food was very good. The waiter spoke some English and... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to this restaurant. The staff were absolutely lovely and made us feel at home, and the food was delicious. Maybe some of the portions were not as big as we expected, but it was probably because of what we ordered. However, it was very tasty. The atmosphere was fantastic, the place is very traditional and... More

Not so easy to know this restaurant because is outside the main areas but once you find it you won't be disappointed. Food is very good they supply some entrees that if you are not aware you won't be able to eat main and dessert. The specialities are 'cabrito assado' and 'bacalhau no forno' but they have a good menu... More

This is a very large restaurant and has a good Portuguese feel about it. There are prosciutto hams handing from the ceilings, part of their drying process. About 30 in all. Slices are served with melon and it was delicious. Many Portuguese eat here and the service was good. I had lamb chops for my main course which was tasty... More

Ate here during our guided tour and was very happy! Cannot beat the value of 20€ per person which buys you appetizers, main meal, drinks, wine and dessert! Food was prepared very well. Restaurant is very charming and staff was wonderful.

Our tour guide took us here for lunch on our day visit to Sintra. We loved the place. It is decorated in a rustic manner with ham hanging from the walls. We went on a Sunday. All the tables were booked and they were all portuguese except for us and another table. On Saturday and Sunday there is a farmer's... More

Not bad but not good. Can provide more quantity of food by the money charged. Not the best value for money but lots of space for dinner group. And this maybe the only reason to come back, if need to sit a big group around the table. Parking facility is limited but deserve a plus. To resume, just another restaurant... More
