The food was very good, but beware if you're a visitor. As soon as we sat down, they brought two appetizers to the table, octopus and clams. We were surprised that they'd bring two appetizers, but the place was recommended to me by a Portuguese friend so I assumed that was part of what they do. After sitting there for... More

Hello Mr. Kevin! Thanks for your review and I'm sorry the experience at our restaurant didn't actually go to you liking. We obviously don't try to "rip off" our clients but I understand that sometimes people from other countries are not used to the way we work here in Portugal. Its somewhat of a tradition here that, when you sat... More

Lovely setting for outdoor eating. On the way back from Cabo da Roca we found this place by accident and were delighted with the outdoor settings. The cuisine is local Portuguese and we enjoyed fresh sea food. I had grilled sardines since I just love them and my husband had cod and we shared crepe with ice-cream. It was a... More

We used to visit this restaurant 20 plus years ago when we lived in the area and it is still going. I should say it is more expensive than some of the local restaurants in Torre and about but cheaper than most of the others on the Guincho road. Food was still very good and the octopus salad starter is... More

What a pity. Great location, nice terrace, good food and very friendly staff. But it is highway robbery. Be very careful with the convert (bread, butter, cheese Etc), incredibly expensive. We split 2 starters, one sardines portion, water and sangria and the bill came to 82€ !!!! Never again unfortunately.

After the fine dining of Fortaleza do Guincho and the buzzing busy-ness of a beach restaurant, this was a refreshing change. And we liked it so much that we returned the next night. The restaurant is behind Guincho beach nestled in pine trees, away from the wind and sun It has a Greek taverna style feel to it. The food... More

We found this place after being turned away from a couple of others because we fell into the Portugese food trap (too late for lunch, too early for dinner). It is a pleasant place, a bit back from the road, with a nice outdoor seating area. Our server, Andre, an efficient and friendly guy, led us through the menu and... More

We found this place by accident. We experienced a great hospitality and really nice food. We had the mixed fish together with a superb Vino Verde. The staff is very dedicated and loves to give advise and tell you about the different dishes. The service was great and we did not had to wait long for our food. All together,... More

We stopped at this friendly restaurant during our drive from Sintra along the coastline to Lisbon. The weather was perfect so we dined outside under the pine trees. The park next door was filled with locals visiting the beach on the May 1 Holiday. The grilled cod was very good making this a good stop along the way.

This restaurant was fantastic surprise! We just stopped without knowing anything about it. Nice setting in pine wood, short walk to the beach ... We didn't expect much. We even were not too hugry. But when they brought us octopus salad we realized that we could eat something. Grilled cod fish was perfect choice. With young potatoes in abundance of... More

Visors here as a family whilst on holiday, we visited first at lunch, whereby we all had sardines which were fantastic value and were flavoursome. However our experience when returning for dinner was average at best. I don't like the fact that they bring out loads of starters and place them on the table with or without your consent. Make...
