3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed yesterday NEW

was expecting something spectacular but it isn't the case. The price tag would let you think that you will experience something special...the reality is different. Ok, the fish and seafood are ok but that is it. This place is blend and dull. The wine list is a joke and 130 euros the kilo of lobster.... anyhow, if you crave for... More

The location is great for tourists with spectacular views but also for locals with the parking at the door for quite a large restaurant. The menu is varied, the seafood and fresh fish displays excellent and both the food and wine menu is very good value for money on the Cascais coast. The service is relaxed with a great sense... We were a group of 6 people and the general impressioneis very positive. Good quality on fish, fair wine list, great service and good location. There are 2 dining rooms, the interior is very cosy and comfortable, but the outside is too cold and noise for winter, it needs good improvements to get a 5!

We popped in for a lunch without a reservation and being just two were shown to a table with reasonable views of the sea. The service is excellent and very friendly, the place soon filled up and lent itself to a lovely atmosphere with a good mixture of locals and tourists. My husband had the small clams (ameijoas) delicious and... More

I am writing this review at the age of 39 but this was actually my first restaurant. My mother says she took me there with only a few weeks old. Since then, we have come here for many times and occasions: birthdays, Sunday family lunch, etc. It's a really good restaurant for both family and business. The overall conditions are... More

We were on a day trip to Sintra and running very late so our driver called ahead to save our table. It was almost 3pm when we arrived, extremely late for lunch by neurotic Hong Kong standards but not in Lisbon as we waited patiently for our table to clear. I was so relieved to see our "raison d'etre" on... More

From the fish to the service, an excellent choice for a meal with family or friends, on any time of the year. The surroundings are beautiful.

My husband had raved about this restaurant in October. Tonight, opening night after refurbishment, underwhelmed. Fish soup not ready so talked into a salad which took an hour topped by what tasted like tinned tuna followed by a shared fish / shellfish platter with worst rubbery prawns and chewy mussels I've ever eaten, over cooked bream and bass and tasteless... Good Portuguese seafood restaurant on the ocean in the Boca do Inferno. It is a large place, frequented by many tourists, but is of excellent quality. I give it only three stars because of the high, touristy prices.
