Great pastry shop, perfect for breakfast or an afternoon snack. Big selection of cakes, pastries and bread and all looked fantastic. Some real regional specialities as well. Always busy but service was very helpful, even for those of us who struggled with the pronunciation of...More

Just around the corner from a number of hotels, this spot had great coffee and FRESH morning pastries, both sweet and savory. Only one staff person spoke some English, but it was still easy to communicate as they were very helpful, despite being busy.
Just had some fantastic bread rolls with tuna and mixta (ham and cheese). The bread was crunchy on the outside and made for a delicious, simple and inexpensive lunch. There must be 50 different pastries and cakes here too for the sweet tooth. Recommended.
Staff helpful, food fresh and reasonably priced with wide range of englsh dishes on the menu - especially breakfasts. Very near to COimbra A train station.
I ate a fish soup there very good as well as the cakes. A window of cakes makes you mouth watering. The only thing i have to make remark is that the people attending tables have a very sad look...all of them! Visited february 2015
