A great lunchtime meal for us in Portimao. Hubby chose the menu of the day which included a huge steak with tasty hot chips, a large glass of red wine that was to his liking and a small coffee. I opted for a very yummy...pizza. In addition we had a dish of olives before the meal, my husband was offered some pizza slices before his main course and we were unexpectedly treated to some delicious limoncello liqueur after the meal. The waiter was friendly, helpful and efficient. We enjoyed the background music too.More

We had takeaway Pizzas from here during lockdown and vowed to visit in person and we did! Took some friends with us and we all agreed that they were the best pizzas and pastas we have had. The waitress was very efficient, could not believe...she remembered all our orders without writing them down. Good value for money. We sat outside and could watch the world go by. The tourists don't know how good the food was here before, during the former owner. OK. Not speaking Italian you are not very welcomed there. When complained for a long wait of drinks, only answer was "Look how many other tables I have to serve"....Clients which had came long after us. It is a pity because liking Italian food you had to go far from Portimao center. Living there all year had been nice to keep one place closer to go. So sorry!More

Found Cucina entirely by chance whilst wandering in the old town looking for an informal supper. Super friendly welcome. Excellent pizzas, bruschetta and lasagne. Really enjoyed ourselves. Thank you. Look out for the home made chilli oil!!

We were very disappointed to hear that Marta has sold her lovely restaurant. The standard of food and service has dropped significantly and we won’t be visiting again. The kitchen staff were very noisy, kept wandering out of the kitchen without a mask. We were...charged €8 cover charge for cold bread with toppings.More

Very cute little restaurant well located in Portimao service is very good super friendly staff. Pasta and pizza dishes all looked amazing and not bad prices!

Easily one of our favourite restaurants from the trip. Food was excellent, service was friendly and fast. My only 'complaint' would be that the portions were too big which I think meant the chef thought we didn't enjoy the food which of course wasn't the...case at all. Very reasonably priced.More

The food is incredibly delicious with the best presentation. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated and the staff were super lovely. You won’t regret going!
