Found this restaurant after a late touch down. Roam the street on late Sunday night looking for a bite to eat. Nothing around but stumbled upon this restaurant at 10pm thinking they might not welcome us. To our surprised we were received and shown to a table. We ordered grilled silver bream and lamb cutlets. Before the main arrived we... More

An excellent meal, with affordable price and lots of friendliness in the service! It was an excellent choice made by my girlfriend!

The wood was delicious. I had pork and my wife had seabream. The staff was very friendly and it was close to the train station. It was probably a tourist trap, but it ended being very nice.

Location was convenient (close to the train station), price was fair considering the size of the portions and the service was very good. The food unfortunately was disappointing; tasteless and kind of 'lazy'. The rice with clams was plain white rice (probably leftovers) mixed with tiny clams without any flavour. The fried fish wasn't seasoned and mostly bones. The tuna... More

We ate here twice, once for whole fish and once for the Cataplana both were great and the waiters very helpful and nice. Not the cheapest place in the area, but a good atmosphere...

Although tucked away a 100m from the harbour, this is well worth seeking out. Good food, decent wines and friendly service all make this a must visit.

We came with a party of 6. The vegetarian dish: pasta & vegetables overcooked, no sauce No taste. The fish brochette: burned pieces of gambas, fish etc. Bitoque was OK. Other dish to. So: 2 of the 4 dishes not OK … Nice restaurant inside.

We spotted this restaurant in the rough guide to Portugal - it's a little hidden away out of the main centre of Faro so we were glad we had checked where it was on the map first. The normal bread and olives arrived together with a tuna and bean salad. We both started with the prawns - these were excellent... More

The soace is nice, big, a room for smokers in the upper floor and for non-smokers. The waitresses are not that friedly nowadays, the restaurant is always full, and the food doenst taste as it did some years ago, or it is too dry, overcooked... really busy restaurant that should be avoided on the weekends and holidays and a reservation... This hard to find restaurant up a side straight was a gem. Great atmosphere and amazingly all tourists eating which amazed me because of its location. We had the razor clam rice which was great as a started between us and our mains were just as good and plentiful. Two of the waiters were very good at their job whilst... More
