Went back to Le Cro after my visit last year and again did not disappoint. Hugo was extremely helpful with wine selections and Portuguese wine history and Marina's pork ragu was amazing, as was their own version of Tiramisu. Restaurant is small tables (2's and...4's) and was a lovely atmosphere. Will go again the next time I am back in Carvoeiro, hopefully soon.More

We have been here a few times over the years and the food and wine are always excellent; highlights this time were the hake ceviche and the cheese and chorizo platter. The truth is that this mini restaurant delivers much more than what the sign says; if you really appreciate real and well prepared food, you’ll get it. They are truly...honest all the time. Actually, they are experts in what I like to say “over delivery”. Don’t go looking for a fancy night out or a luxurious restaurant set up. Run by a lovely couple who are very welcoming and happy to explain all the dishes and accompanying wine. So good we ate there both nights we were in Carvoeiro. We had various dishes and all of them were delicious. Highly recommended.

Although getting to the end of the season the restaurant was nearly full and we just managed to squeeze in. In high season make sure you book. The restaurant is owned and run by Marina and Hugo who go out of their way to help...you make the right food and drink selections. Fairly limited menu, but the dishes we had were great. Interesting wine idea where you can only order a glass unless you want to take a bottle away. It actually works as you then get the wine to go with the food. Highly recommended and we will look to go back again.More
