Casa Algarvia is a good, authentic Portuguese restaurant that does the typical dishes you would expect very well. They do some of the best Peri Peri chicken in Carvoeiro and the prawns are usually good too.

We had a lovely piri piri chicken dinner. Portions are very generous. Had to take a doggy bag home. Service was fantastic. Would recommend the restaurant!

Our very first restaurant in Carvoeiro visited 9 years ago and still a real treat. We had the fish soup followed by a sensationally tasty and tender rib eye and an equally impressive mixed fish kebab. As always, great portion sizes, friendly service and all washed down with the agreeable House red.

Our first Sunday in Carvoeiro and we came here for the evening meal. The Piri Piri Chicken was absolutely sublime and the squid is something you have to try! Topped off with a glass of green wine. Great way to end our first day.

Beautifully home smoked salmon starter. Fish soup. And sardines. Thing to remember about Portuguese petiscos is they are larger than Spanish tapas. So you maybe need less. Hence me having to take away food with me which was devoured with gusto. Partner in crime had octopus, which was by accounts excellent. Only stopped off for lunch in Carvoiero but the... More

We decided we would eat here for our first evening meal of a seven week stay in Carvoeiro and we were not disappointed. Excellent service friendly without being pushy. Good wine and extremely good food.
