This was our first visit to Taste but it will not be the last. We visited during our stay in the Algarve in January. We were very impressed by the superb menu choices and the large choice of gluten free dishes. It has always been...difficult to find restaurants that thoroughly understand and provide good quality gluten free food. We absolutely love Taste restaurant in Carvoeiro. The owners, Ciprian & Nicola, are super friendly and they are backed up by excellent friendly staff. The food is absolutely superb, never had a bad meal here. A fantastic menu, the best we’ve seen on the Algarve,...leaving choice as the biggest headache of the night! Wonderful selection of pre-dinner drinks and 5 stars for value for money. Will continue to visit Taste and would recommend this restaurant to everybody reading this review.More

Had an amazing meal here last night. The waiter was very knowledgeable about my need for gluten free (celiac) and there was a huge variety for me to chose from. Their gluten free bread was some of the best I’ve eaten. Portions were generous -...we took home what was left of our seafood platter for 2. The atmosphere was clean and really relaxing it being a more modern restaurant than others we’ve eaten at here in the Algarve.More

Visited Taste on Saturday night. Although it was steak night I had the duck and Camembert - odd combination but worked well ! Great food and atmosphere and as ever made to feel very welcome. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Carvoeiro.

we had 2 starters and 2 mains - one of each was excellent and the other a bit disappointing ambience was good and staff were excellent

Excellent food at this very nice restaurant. Great choice and well presented. Great service from the staff who were very attentive and good selection of craft beer from the algarve, plus erdinger which my husband loves.

Picked Taste at random for Saturday night dinner. From the moment you walk in the staff are friendly and attentive. Didn't have to wait for anything, very efficient. Food was terrific. Equal to the best places I've eaten in the Algarve.

A total family favourite. My seven year old asks for Taste by name as the environment is brilliant. Ciprian has created a warm welcoming and inclusive environment that just makes us come back time and again. A new menu with some New delicacies. Had dinner and every dish was great. The wine and port were delicious! Staff was pleasant and attentive. I highly recommend and I will be back.

The culinary experience, the fantastic explosions on the palate and on the tongue cannot be adequately described with simple words. You have to come and experience it for yourself, along with the wonderful service of the gracious hosts.
