We ordered around 12 plates for a dinner with 6 adults. It was really delicious. A great way to taste the Portuguese cuisine. The waiter was very friendly and the bill really reasonable: we paid 114 euros for the 12 tapas, wine, soft drinks, 4 deserts and 1 coffee!

We ate here on our first night in Portugal. We weren’t sure what to order so we got a mix of everything - we started with the wood board which had a mix of ham, sausage, cheeses, walnuts and pumpkin chutney. We also ordered garlic prawns and clams which came in a sensational sauce we had to ask for bread so we could keep dipping in the sauce it was so good. We ordered beef in bread which we hoped would be more exciting but it was literally fried steak in bread. Pork cooked in wine was delicious. The fried shrimp we transferred over into the garlic sauce. Overall a lovely meal and friendly staff

My partner and I visited the other night and had the selection for 2 people. Service was very attentive and friendly! The food quality was very good. We added the bread starter, fried octopus and fries to the set meal which was a bit too much food. The selection for two came with cheese, hams, 2 hot meat dishes (chicken and pork cheeks) and prawns but I imagine this varies. We shared a litre of sangria and the bill was about €60 which is very reasonable considering how much food we ordered and given the food quality. Each tapas dish ranges from €1-€10 so you can make it as cheap or expensive as you like. Drinks were reasonable with a litre of sangria for €10. We’d definitely return! I’d encourage people to book as the restaurant is small and had reduced capacity due to COVID.

Lovely space, and lovely food. The portions were very small and we felt overpriced for the amount. We live in Algarve so we know the cost of things. Found the waiters very ontop of you, always asking if we want to order more, no card machine - just cash...not great when 90% people pay by card nowadays..luckily we had just enough cash. Wouldn't return as we didn't feel it valued the money but what we had was lovely.

We enjoyed a lovely meal here. Went for the chef’s selection for 4 people which was great as meant we got to try a range of dishes and some different ones. You can let them know if there are specific dishes you don’t want in the selection so they really cater to what you like. The desserts are very tasty too we had the cheese cake and chocolate mousse! Our server was great as well he explained all the menu to us and gave great recommendations and even a shot on the house at the end. We really enjoyed our night here and the cost was very reasonable for the quality of the food and drink!

First visited this restaurant in March before lock down. I waited too long to visit again for lunch today and I have to say it exceeded my expectations. We had a tapas meal for 2 which included garlic spicy prawns, a combo of cheeses, grapes, walnuts, chutney and cold meats. Plus Pork Cheeks and Gizzards both in sauces to die for. Highly recommend this friendly family run Tapas Restaurant, they were more than happy to explain and help guide you through the menu. Will definitely be back.

Me and my partner visited 4 September for dinner. We’d reserved a table and were greeted and seated straight away. We decided on the Rose Sangria to drink which is excellent at €10 for a jug. Started with bread and oil and olives which were excellent. Tapas choices were Cod with mashed potato, Prawns and clams, Pork in wine, Chorizo, Padron peppers and a side salad. The prawns were amazing and we could have eaten them over again. The chorizo is a cook yourself and whilst it looks spectacular the huge piece of raw fat put us both off, sounds a bit pompous perhaps but I don’t really want to cook my own food and it would be much nicer sliced and cooked in the kitchen I’m sure. We shared a creme brûlée for dessert which was beautiful. Service was good and it’s very reasonably priced. I’d like to give it 4.5 stars but can’t of course so the chorizo and the rather uncomfortable seating means a star lost

A Portuguese friend recommended this place when we were staying in Albufeira and we can highly recommend it! It is a hidden gem away from the tourist traps in the Old Town and the Strip (but not far in walking distance from the Strip). We loved everything we ate (the cheese and charcuterie, beef cheek, sausage etc) and had a lovely bottle of red for only €10. The service was excellent and the young waiter and older guy are very nice. Like other reviews, the only downside is having to pay cash. Still five stars!

Really very good local restaurant just off the strip in Albufeira. Food was excellent, basically exactly like tapas only Portuguese! Great value for a wide choice of dishes - you can have 10 tapas for €70 for example. The service was friendly and efficient, and the wine very reasonably priced So, can definitely recommend, (and don't worry about me only giving four stars, nothing negative, I cannot really award it the same as Noma, Petrus etc. !!)

Had a wonderfull main course. The waitress was a bit clueless. Couldn't recommend any wine and did not know the area at all. Though the main was delicious the dessert was awful. Bought in desserts that just didn't taste right. The not realy cheap price with the waiter and bad desserts make it an average rating.

The service was very good, menu well explained and lots of good recommendations, including a lovely lovely bottle of white wine - see picture. We chose our own tapas, rather than the chefs selection. We would recommend the cod, shrimps and clams in a wine sauce were delishhhh! The chorizo sausage came as one huge sausage on a little plate which was on fire/ cooking, that was fun but it was far too much and a little off putting for us, however if you love chorizo you will probably love this idea. We walked from old town Albufeira which took about 25 minutes.

I stopped reviewing restaurants because it started feeling fake. I noticed the real top restaurants in my town were nowhere close to the top on Trip Advisor and many times I went to a place when traveling based on TA only to get there and realize they were all fake reviews. Well let me tell you, that is NOT the case with this delicious restaurant in Albufeira! This tapas place is EXCELLENT! One of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. It is NOT the same same. This place is a cut above the rest. We ordered the mixed ham and cheese platter which had this delicious homemade pumpkin jelly spread, the sausage balls, shrimp and clams, little pepper things, squid salad, crepe brûlée, and more. I made myself sick when I could not stop eating. Also, the server and atmosphere was very pleasant! Do yourself a favor and eat here!

Third visit after visiting twice on our 2 week trip last year, fantastic restaurant serving northern Portuguese regional tapas style cuisine, very different to other restaurants in Albufeira (particularly the area it’s in). The prawns and clams in garlic and white wine is a standout but everything we have ordered has been amazing, the pig cheek and table roasted chorizo are also stand outs. The front of house staff are just brilliant, can’t do enough for you and have great knowledge and presence… there enough to never need anything without being intrusive and made a huge fuss of our little one who loved the food to. Absolute gem of a place. 6 tapas plates(including prawns/seafood), bottle of rose wine, bottle of water, shared a mousse dessert… 68 euros… crazy price… would be double in the UK and half as good. Bargain and a must visit for foodies visiting Albufeira. Keep up the great work and fantastic service guys your amazing!!!

The best and most authentic tapas I had in Albufeira! Food is fresh and super delicious, great wines, really good prices and staff will make you feel like home. I went there few times during my holidays, because I couldn’t find food like this anywhere else. Great for lunch with friends and romantic dinner date. 100% recommend and will be back for sure!

Without a doubt, this restaurant stands out as my top choice in Albufeira. The cuisine is truly exceptional; I particularly like their Octopus salad, it's phenomenal. Every dish we savoured was nothing short of remarkable, and what's even more impressive is their reasonable prices given the food's quality. The restaurant's team is incredibly friendly, ensuring you feel genuinely welcomed. Rest assured, we'll certainly return on our next visit to Portugal!
