This is a very simple and traditionel place. There is no gourmet at all, but it is very cheap, tastefull and a great memory.

This was a great experience in Sines. It was a place that both tourists and locals visit. The food is very simple. Chicken with fries, beef chunks with fries or deep fried fish with fries. I can't say that I enjoyed the overcooked fish but my wife had the beef and it was not bad. Don't expect great flavours but... More

Brilliant little bustling restaurant, amazing chicken and sardines served as they should be, very cheap and cheerful and always busy, be prepared to wait for a table especially lunchtimes, worth a visit

Authentic portugese kitchen. They showed us what's in the pots in the kitchen instead of having a translated menu. Very friendly people. Delicious portugese food.

Amazing place to visit if you're in Sines! Cozy place with authentic atmosphere, great simple food and a real bargain for the price. A daily menu with around five Portuguese dishes, being the grilled chicken the favourite one. It's almost always full, so better come early.

This place is right near the castle and we came across it by accident and we're glad we did. It's a modest family-run business that has a very limited menu but has a great authentic feel. It's quite small so the family can handle the work, not like some places that work their staff half to death by employing the... More

Don't stop on the threshold. Go inside and let them show you the food (they speak strictly portuguese so the lovely old lady takes you in the kitchen and let you choose from the pans like a favourite grandchild of hers), it's totally worth it. We had delicious pan cooked pork ribs with chips and an awesome apple mousse for... More

People is nice, food is good, but they have limited choice for courses with about 2-4 main courses to choose from - at least for lunch.

We were a group of 3 friend and one of us was very unsure of the place! After the dinner we was amazed, he had the best desert of his life in here. The place is very cozy and nice. It has a limited menu, but it's trustworthy :) you should try it

We came here, on recommendation, and everything exceeded our expectations. There is no real menu, to speak of, you are shown what is cooking and you choose what you fancy. We both had the chicken, chips and a side salad. It was the best chicken we have had. We had a pudding and a carafe of good house red. All... More
