Have dinner for several times in this restaurant. A lot of favourite dishes such as black pork cheeks, dog fish soup, grilled sea bass etc. But recently had pork cheeks was not as good as before, and not very tasteful as usual. However, you always find a good dish which you'll like it. Anyway, staffs are very friendly and helpful.

When visiting Evora, we asked some locals for Dinner recommendations. Dom Joaquim was recommended as very good. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals at this fine dining restaurant. It was only a 7 minute walk from the Evora Ibis Hotel. We would recommend reservations as it quite popular with the locals. Will return on our next visit to Evora.

Everything I tasted was fantastic: the appetizers, the main dishes and the desserts. This restaurant honors the genuine Portuguese gastronomy from Alentejo region. Also the service is very efficient and the waiters very helpful. Enjoy as much as I did!

Is a third visit and is all perfect. The wine, and a bochecha de porco preto is my favorite. I recommend and I returned all the time when I can.

Wanted to come to this restaurant but it's always busy. Booked by hotel receptionist for a dinner at 8pm. We had black port cheeks as main course which was very nice taste and tender, plus starters and a bottle of red local "EA" wine, water and coffee, around €53 for two, which was cheap. Thanks for the delicious dinner, will... More

Great feel to this family restaurant and friendly, knowledgeable service from Louis the waiter. We started with two local dishes, seared sausages which came with a sort of mash and greens ( like Colcannon) which was very savoury and tasty. My fresh asparagus with scrambled egg was too mild to compete. For mains we shared the lamb roasted in the... More

Went on recommendation of women who rented bus tours. Very impressed. We had veal and cannelloni. Waiter recommended rose which we did not like, feel like we should have known better. Still a positive experience

The restaurant is located in the heart of Evora which is very magical. Lots of little alleys and squares. The staff was very welcoming and happy to explain the typical dishes of the region and offer suggestions. There was a very lively energy among the dinners - a mix of tourists and locals.

We visited here at the recommendation of the hotel. We had a nice lunch of two fish dishes two soup of the day. The fish portions we got were huge. Two monkfish steaks and a sea bass. Ask how much fish the special is. We probably could have ordered one.
