Excellent food. Excellent restaurant. Been several times. Fillet Steak, Tuna, Pork, Spaghetti - all good. The only annoying thing is when badly behaved children are at the restaurant. Good idea to have an adults only area so you can enjoy expensive well presented food without children anywhere near.

We were a party of four. The setting is great down near the waters edge. The waiter (proprietor), is miserable so and so. No words of welcome or a smile. Three of us had the tagliatelle in Salmon sauce which delicious, I had the spaghetti. For mains two had the special fish (cuttlefish), which they said was excellent, and two... More

It was very quiet on the night we visited with no atmosphere. The food was not great. We had a starter of grilled cheese which was quite bland in spite of the chutney served with it. We then had grilled large king prawns on a bed of vegetables. The prawns were very greasy and not very large - they had... More

This is a great restaurant, alongside the small harbour in Playa San Juan. It is not cheap, but the quality is first class and the setting is extremely pleasant. We enjoyed the fish choices from the specials menu, alongside a bottle of pretty reasonably priced Priorat. Even on a January evening it was very pleasant sitting outside, but there is... More

Had dinner here recently and can say it was some of the best food I've eaten recently! The aubergine and cheese starter was especially good. The service was attentive. Wish it had been busier, but the prices will put some people off

We had a lovely meal here in January and I would highly recommend. Our son who is 5 didn't fancy anything on the menu (they didn't have a kids one) but the maitre d' (who I assume owns the restaurant too) was super accommodating and managed to rustle something up that met with his approval. I ate a great scallop... More

Difficult to fault Unusual to see such high standards in a small village not known for its culinary cuisine Better than most of the restaurants in the abama Sea food platter to die for Tuna carpaccio with fresh tomato concasse refreshing and light Lemon sorbet with vodka to finish Money spent on the premises Lovely views Best in San juan... Whereas most of the restaurants in Playa de san Juan seem to be tapas-oriented, this one is a proper, grown-up, three-course-dinner kind of place. It is accordingly more expensive and formal. The food is very, very good - majoring on fresh fish, great steaks and traditional, local specialties such as Canarien potatoes. Sitting outside and overlooking the little harbour is... More

Delicious food, beautifully cooked and presented: tick. Friendly, co-operative waiting staff with a sense of humour: tick. Warned on arrival that they are unexpectedly busy, be ready to wait: again, that's fine, tick. But please do not, Head Waiter, when you seem to want to do things the traditional way and only YOU are allowed to pour the wine, grab... More

Marsala is a high standard restaurant, the best in San Juan. The service is top class and professional, food superb and a winelist for connaisseurs . As well inside as outside, the tables are not close together, and the tables are nicely dressed. We had a wonderful evening and dinner, and paid a correct price. anyway;this restaurant cannot be compared with... More
