While it might be different if eating in the restaurant, we were not overly impressed with the takeaway. Despite only driving a few min away, the chips and calamari were soggy. Everything was really overly greasy too. They also didn't put in the bag any napkins, nevermind ketchup, forks or wipes. The fish was certainly fresh though!

This restaurant is really cosy and small, family-based, very friendly and fast staff. The fish is awesome, just the portions are too big :-) We recommend the calamari!!

We had lunch here and oh my goodness!!! This was the best Calamari I had ever!!! It is soft and just absolutely delicious. The fish is moist and the salad fresh and crunchy. I absolutely love this place. The service is very good and very friendly staff. I will recommend anyone to drive to Henties bay just to eat here.

If you like fresh Fish then this is the place for you, the portions were generous and freshly prepared. The service was great, worth a trip from Swakopmund to this restaurant if you are in the area.

What can you buy for R68 these days? We enjoyed the most incredible calamari and snoek at Fishy Corner in Henties Bay. Don't be put off by the unassuming exterior. We had visited here in February and when we had a chance to pass this way again we planned it to have our lunch there. Lovely Silke is still in... More

Service is very slow but atmosphere and food are very good. We placed the order at 7pm and food came out just after 45 minutes, we were the first customers to have dinner that day, therefore I think service is quite slow although that shows that the food must be made from scratch. We really enjoyed the food, we ordered... More

Wonderful atmosphere, always a fire burning in the fireplace and the best seafood that you can get! Sabine that is usually in charge is an asset for Fishy corner. We are regular customers.

Well, having had a good experience before at this restaurant, we visited it again during a recent visit to Henties Bay. The quality of the seafood was once again tops! They were out of cob ("kabeljou", as it is known here), but I opted to have fried snoek, my wife had the fried butterfish and calamri combo and our accompanying... More
