About a decade ago, I had a truly memorable dinner here. Now I went back and, if anything, the experience was even better. In terms of decor, the front of the house has matured. Good and elegant contemporary furniture, excellent pleasant lighting, outstanding acoustics (a...major issue in too many restaurants), and sufficient privacy. Service was outstanding. Prompt, but not in your face. Friendly and helpful with both the food and the wine choices. The menu is clear and not too large, the wine list excellent and includes nearly a dozen of good options by the glass. I had two, both outstanding, especially the 2014 Bourgogne (100% Pinot Noir). Finally, the food. Contemporary global fusion without any pretense. Splendid amuse-gueules (2): a pork rilette w cornichons and roasted pepper, and a pâté of peas, mint, and crushed pistachios, served with shrimp crisps. Everything was delicious, but I want to single out the “deconstructed” croquettes crevettes, consisting of a bed of spinach, freshly cooked mini-shrimp, a creamy and airy mashed potato on top, all served in a foamy “bisque.” Spooned together, the effect was surprising and sublime, one of the most satisfying things I’ve eaten during my visit to Paris, Holland, and now Belgium. Good value, too. If you are looking for a carefully crafted, creative cuisine to top off a day in Bruges, you may want to look at Rock-Fort. Totally worth it.More

They have a good four course set menu, which has slightly larger meals than a tasting menu. The food was to a very high standard and we enjoyed the atmosphere. This is probably we’re locals eat so would suggest booking to avoid disappointment. The staff...were welcoming and friendly but some parts of the meal came slowly ( we waited 25 mins for a cold dessert while watching the kitchen and waiters clean up for the night) But all in all, a very good place to eat and drink.More

The restaurant itself is nicely decorated, ambiance was good, food was good quality but I was expecting more from it, taking into account that it is a michelin star restaurant. I was expecting more imaginative dishes, a more professional service and specially the dessert was...just a weird combination of flavors that didn't go together. The waitress was not the most smiling and welcoming person, but I can live with that. The worst thing is that she said she didn't have the time to translate one of the ingredients in English for me.More

One of our favorite restaurants reasonably priced with excellent service, including the owner. We liked it so much for dinner we went back the next day for lunch

This is not your run of the mill restaurant. The food is creative and the chef puts together interesting combinations that please the palate.

I don’t know how this restaurant received such good reviews! My husband and I dined there for our anniversary last night and they had a hightop table available. The seats were very uncomfortable and difficult to get into and hurt my back. My feet were...left dangling. The service was slow and the waitress never came to refill our drinks. The food was extremely expensive for the offering. I had the fish which was mostly bones and very little fillet and had no flavor to speak of. Mine came with vegetables that were drowned in a cream sauce and was very unappetizing. All this for the expensive price of €32. My husband had a fillet of beef which was just OK with a light tomato and Romain salad dressed in a simple vinaigrette. Nothing exciting for the price. Our appetizer was grilled prawns which we expected to be large shrimp that were filleted open but instead they came grilled in their shell and we’re very mushy and drippy. There was hardly any prawns to be found for the expensive price of €30 for two prawns. I urge you to steer clear of this restaurant!More

We had the most delicious langoustines ever. Tried to come back the next day, but they were closed. Super disappointed that we weren't able to eat there again before leaving town. Already planning a trip back.

We originally tried to eat here on our first night, however we soon realised within Bruges you need to make reservations for dinner. So we went back a few nights later and we were not disappointed. The atmosphere, the staff and the food were all...fantastic. Being pregnant with an allergy to mushrooms I was worried about the variation on offer. Not that is was needed but the chefs were very happy to change anything on the menu to cater for my dietary requirements. Luckily, that was not needed but the food was absolutely superb, I would definitely choose here for a place for dinner.More

This was our first dinner when we arrived in Bruges and it was the best meal of our entire trip. If you are looking for something out of the ordinary from a talented chef, this is a great choice! It is a bit pricey, but...I don't mind paying more for outstanding dishes and service. Our server demonstrated as good a service as I have ever experienced in a restaurant--attentive without hovering, helpful, and made good suggestions. When they were out of the shrimp dish my wife wanted to order, the waitress suggested she have the chef come up with something different with the shrimp. I don't remember exactly what it was, but my wife raved about it afterwards. I strongly recommend this restaurant if you are visiting Bruges.More

Had a wonderful meal here during our day in Brugge. A bit pricey but so with it! Wonderful presentation. Menu is heavy on seafood, but they did have a steak my husband enjoyed.

smart casual. its quite a funky place. Clean jeans and shirt, that kind of thing - you can wear whatever you like, but most people were a little dressed up! New York style!! Enjoy.
