A lovely little restaurant which serves a great selection of seafood and fish dishes with a large selection of mussels. Just off a side street on Burg square.

We had asparagus, chef's shrimp soup and lobster for starters...all good, but we came for the mussels which we craved and which turned out to be a big disappointment- not the freshest, over cooked and lacking in flavor. The ones we ordered were in garlic white wine broth which I usually love more than mussels themselves. I am not however... More

We had an excellent dinner with my wife. Mussels with wine and cream were perfect and the pomme croquette with cheese inside were amazing. Good service and not a very expensive place Highly recommend

We are doing a road trip from london to Warsaw stopping on the way in a couple of towns. What else would you chose when in Belgium other than mussels. This place came top on TripAdvisor. Don't get fooled by the less than glamorous exterior or interior for a matter of fact. The places on the square might look more... More

Without doubt Breydel De Coninc serve the best mussels in the world. A huge portion in white wine and cream sauce with fries was served with a style and friendliness which we will always remember. Being our first night in Bruges of my birthday weekend this was a magical start! This is a must do if you ever visit Bruges!

Myst try fresh lobster. It is very fresh and delicious. Ribeye steak is also very good. Red wine source is nice. Mussels is good but white wine is too strong in my view (i don't drink so my taste may be unusual). Service is excellent too !

I have eaten a lot of seafood, and sole is no stranger to me. It is not something that I typically crave or even feel like it is really good. One dinner at Breydel de Coninck and that has completely changed. This is an outstanding seafood restaurant and if you go, you must get the sole because it is delectable.... More
