We had dinner here. The food was fine, but nothing overly special. The atmosphere was nice and the service was good.

We were horrified by the food and the time necessary to be served. But that is the least. In the soup there was a rubber band instead of pasta. The cost of a bottle of water 75 cl was 9 euros and it was already open!!!! The waiter didn't even apologise!!!! Absolutely not to be recommended

We nearly didn't visit based on the reviews we saw on here, but it had been recommended by our walking tour guide. We had so much food that we could barely finish it. I had the goats cheese salad, which was huge and delicious, and my partner had the mussels, which were plump, tasty and plentiful. Great service and a... More

Such an unexpected pleasure. Everything we ordered was simply divine. It was our first meal in Brugge and nothing has been quite as good since. The oysters were fresh and succulent. I gobbled them down and relished every morsel. The mussels in garlic cream sauce was the perfect combination of garlic, cream and white wine: "The best mussels I've ever... More

We checked to see if the restaurant would be open on Sunday night. They said they should be, but would depend on deliveries! They took my number to ring if there was a problem. No call, so we arrived at 8pm. We were the only customers initially. The manager was good and friendly, albeit a little pessimistic about everything. Two... More

The food is amazing, especially the mussels :). The staff was very friendly and polite. The prices are good. I can't wait to be back to Brugge and eat there.

Because other mussel restaurants were fully booked we ended up at this place: we wouldn't go here normally as it is at a very touristic location. The service is good, the food as well. Nothing to be really exited about but at the same time no let downs eather.

We visited here on the recommendation of a relative who works nearby, to find this gem hidden away in the Fish market. This was really good, in fact it was so good, we went there twice on our stay! Portion size was generous, food quality was awesome and we found the staff very friendly and helpful. They spoke English very... More

Rather than just eat mussels at any old street cafe, we decided to search the reviews for good mussels. This was in the top three and I can see why. Service was good and friendly and the mussels were a generous portion in the usual bucket and were incredibly fresh and tasty. Inside seating is within the cellar which is... More

We went to De Mosselkelder purely by chance during a one day trip to Bruges. We were at Rozenhoedkaai and we needed somewhere close to eat lunch. We sat outside and was lovely the scenery. The service was good and the food good too (not extraordinary). For a lunch is ok.
