We went to this place for a dinner, after having already picked a restaurant in Bruges by its outside look on two other occasions (and ended up with mixed feelings). We have been here twice and both times was fantastic. The carbonara was one of the best I have had. All the food is freshly made and you can tell. The service is slow, but personally I am grateful for not being constantly bothered. The waitress is close by and can easily get her attention if we needed anything.

Very nice food, good location, nice staff. We recommend the flamish rabbit and the boullabasse fishsoup. :-)

Reasonable quality food but totally freezing by the door and below average service. Not terrible, but far from the best place around.

Eating here was horrible. The table was dirty so we asked the waitress to clean it, she came back with a dirty rag to wipe it. There were big and small flies everywhere. I had the worst stew ever, priced at 20 euro. You basically get a plate of extremely salty stew with 3 day old salad right next to... More

If the locals eat here it's got to be ok! Stopped because a couple munching on spaghetti bolognaise caught my eye beautifully presented in modern style offset bowls. That was it I was lured in for the same. Fantastic! Rich tasty sauce on perfectly cooked spaghetti washed down with Belgium beer. The restaurant was clean and well set with the... More

Snacks = lunch we have learned. Family of four- busy restaurant but found a table quickly. Very large portions - my 2 boys (7 and 10) wanted the carbonara - the server advised just one portion for the 2 of them. Yes!! Plenty!! With loads remaining. Good place would go again if in the area just off the market but... More

We visited for lunch and ordered off the set menu, the fish cocktail was excellent as was the beef stew,Maye sauce was very rich and all very tasty. Service was good despite what other reviews have said. The croque Madame is not like served in France so be aware.
