We had completed a free walking tour and the guide , Natalie , suggested that this would be a good place to try. We certainly weren't disappointed, it is best if you make a reservation. It is a Tapas restaurant, we paid 39euro each and were served more than 10 plates. Everything was just so enjoyable. Highly recommend

I've been to Bruges before and in the back of my mind I knew there was a couple of places to eat and drink tucked away down an unassuming alley way. This time I decided to investigate and I was so glad I did. There were 5 of us and the owner "Cookie" managed to squeeze us in for food... More

The food is tapas style and delicious, dishes are brought out when ready which is fine unless there is a long wait in between , which unfortunately there was for us. All drinks were wrong (we ordered four in total) and there was a long wait in between courses as there wasn't enough staff. There was a lovely atmosphere though,... More

Industrial Gourmet at its worst. Unimaginative and very expensive. The dishes were straight out of the freezer cabinet in Tesco's. Tourist tapas!!! My recommendation would be Cafe Bistro Terrastje.

We went to this restaurant because it looked cosie and crowded. Once we were inside we were a bit disapointed because of the few dishes on the menu and the high prices. We chose the chorizo, mini hamburgers and patatas bravas for starters. The chorizo was nice but way to expensive for the portionsize (€7). The mini hamburgers were small... More

Just walking down De Garre is a real treat. You feel like you're discovering a restaurant no one else has. But stopping in here is well worth the (short) trip. All the food and drink we got was great - I remember the calamari was particularly good, the ambience some of my favorite in Europe.

We love this place! Have been twice and are going again this month...the chefs selection is excellent as is the wine. A great interior and atmosphere you can sit all night and relax :)

Hidden away down a thin alleyway, Cookie's is worth hunting down for some fantastic tapas. Clearly popular with locals and tourists alike, we booked a late seating and took on the taster menu. Around 10 courses trickled out at a good pace, each full of flavour and quality. Brilliant.

We happened upon this wonderful cafe’ after drinks next door. Reservations were required but staff happily suggested we return in about an hour for a late seating. We were treated to great service, food, drinks, and even an evening view of the Clock Tower from our cozy table upstairs.

Not very cheap, but really delicious tapas. Maybe the best I ever had. We had the foie gras toast, shrimp croquettes, toast with crab and the pluma iberico. Very advisable.
