This is a tapas restaurant with michelin-star quality. Not only because of the tasty food, but also because of rhe fantastic service of the staff. One off the best tapas-restaurants we ever visited!!!

It’s a big call, but after decades of loving quality food in good Restaurants, the 6 share plate experience at Quatre Mains was up there with the very best we’ve enjoyed around the world. This small Family Restaurant, just off the Markt (main square of...Bruges) is delightful. We could only get seats ‘at the bar’ but it was possibly a better experience. The service was 10-10 (a first in Bruges); the chef’s wife was so warm and welcoming and the young female staff member was so much more than a waitress, representing the business and the food so well, recommending the flow of the options on offer. The Beef carpaccio with tarragon sauce and crisps was as good a first plate as we’ve had, followed by share plates of Ceviche of lobster; Croquetas with Jamon Pata Negra; Raw Tuna; baked Plaice Fish in a light bechamel sauce and a flavour feast Risotto finale. The food was EXCELLENT and the recommended Voignier worked perfectly. I have no hesitation in recommending this Restaurant. It is quality and deserves recognition.More

This meal made me sad. It made me regret the other restaurants I had visited in Bruges, the opportunities that I had missed to come here again and again. I felt sorry for the other people eating at inferior restaurants, missing this experience. Mostly it...made me sad that it was our last day in Bruges and I cannot say when I will return. But Quatre Mains, know that you are in my heart and etched on my memory.... What?! You want to know about the food? Ok...so, lovely fresh bread (brown and white) refreshed without hesitation. Similarly the tap water - thank you! - which means we fulfil our part of the deal and buy multiple glasses of good value and decent wine from their extensive list by the glass (nice Riesling). The whole principle here with the food is to order sharing plates ("you'll need 4-6"). We order four to get on with - tuna salad, fish in coconut broth (yes, bit of a pan-Asian thing going on here...), shrimp steak and quail to finish. Now, being picky I did order pork as the final dish, but when it it ALL tastes this good I am not going to complain. I eat the quail. The people in the kitchen here know what they are doing, and know what is good for me, better than I do. We laughably consider the dessert menu, but 4 dishes has been more than enough - we roll on to the next bar to obliterate our memories, and drink through the sadness found in such beauty...More

If full grade is 5 points, I will give my grading regarding the following aspects: Croquette: 5 Catch of the day: 4 Snow crab: 5 Appearance: 4 Portion size: 3 Value: 3 Clean: 4 Service: 4 This restaurant provides an unique dining experience that all...the dishes are sharing bites, that means guests can taste variety dishes in one dining time. Those dishes are tapas, so the portion size would not be large, but on the other side, that means you can eat more and get more fulfillment. Sharing menu doesn’t imply it’s not a delicate dish, in contrast, it’s good at both flavor and presentation. Snow crab is the most impressive dish in my recall, even I come from a country abundant with seafood and rice, the cooking method and seasoning of this dish is that I haven’t experienced before. This dish is used real crab meat instead of the artificial crab sticks, brilliantly seasoned with mango sauce and spice, and dressing with deep fried green onions and shrimp chips to add crispy texture.More

Enjoyed the food. We were 3 people and they asked if we wanted extra on our small plates and we declined. We didn’t need it. We couldn’t finish everything we had. Wait staff were friendly and attentive

We attended this restaurant thinking it would be amazing...it is not! Just a lot a reviews (probably from staff working there) saying great things - but we were terribly disappointed. From the terrible service, Awful attitude of staff, inedible and disgusting food, and being packed...in like sardines. Not worth a visit.More

Can’t comment on the food, but the staff were very rude. We were contemplating visiting but received a rude “welcome” so left again.

As was mentioned in other reviews, very rude and unprofessional staff. The restaurant was half empty in the evening (already bad sign). We came in and waited five minutes for somebody from the staff pay atention to us... after that we came to the counter...and ask a girl whether they have a table for two... she don't even said hello... with unpleasant smile she just said "no"... she didn't proposed something, maybe a table later or for tomorrow and didn't even say "goodbye"... Ok we decided to come next day...maybe it's a hidden gem and they are overbusy... We met the same unwelcoming attitude but got a table... food was average, I don't like it at all... So all this restaurant is about is rudeness and unwelcoming attitude because they are in crowded touristic city and don't care about quality of food or service. Avoid it.More

We just had a dinner at this nice place where for 38 euros for each of us we tried 6 different dishes for sharing. High quality food, pointing out the Tuna (Tom kha kai) and the LANGOUSTINESTAARTJES - awesome! They also offer tap water and...lots of different wines: we had the Spanish one and it was stunning quality! Will come back one day at this place :)More
