Four of us had dinner at this traditional little restaurant just round the corner from our hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful and the food was good - we chose the restaurant because the menu was a little different - so many restaurants offered exactly the same menus. The men had fish which they said was very good, someone else... More

It is in a prime location so the prices reflect this - mains are on average 25€ each so they had best be spectacular. They aren't: although the beef stew was beautifully sweet, apparently cooked with mashed apple. This is recommended. They specialise in "cook" your own grills. A selection of small meat fillets (all good quality) arrive with a... More

A shame in such a prime area. We stopped for a lunch and end it as soon as it was possible. There is a unfriendly / young waiter who took our food order... We overheard the same guy force to say "please" in a nasty way to a family table sitting next to us and who were struggling to communicate... More

I found this a very expensive restaurant, although the fish cooked on the hot plate was delicious, but other meals were not worthy of the price. 8 euros for basic garlic bread & 6 euros for a small bottle of water. The setting is lovely & the decor is quaint but we were told we could only have a main... More

My wife, daughter and I went for a couple of evening meals here over Christmas 2016. its grabbed our attention as the atmosphere was very warm and welcoming, intimate. The food was of a higher quality than off the main square and was more balanced than your usual meat and chips! as we had plenty of good quality veg and... More

The food was really good... Standard traditional menu but well cooked. Narrow selection of beers but chosen wisely. Staff helpful!Decoration was excellent. For couples : If possible sit next to the window that looks upon the bridge...At night is magical...

We went to the Mozarthuys for lunch early January 2017 and the food was wonderful. I had a venison casserole and it was truly delicious. You can tell there is a clear priority for freshness, high quality and attention to detail there. The beer was excellent, everything was well cooked and beautifully presented, and staff was friendly. I warmly recommend... More

We visited Mozarthaus on the first night of out four nights in Bruges on the recommendation of a friend. Christmas was a difficult time this year as we lost my Mum in 2016, so to see my father enjoying his food and feeling comfortable was a great comfort. He particularly enjoyed the bouillabaisse - saying that it was one of... More

OK, not read any reviews before eating here so I can only give my honest opinion. My partner and I were warmly welcomed and given a nice cosy corner to settle into. We decided on the beef Flemish stew and chips washed down with wine and beer. It was so tasty its ridiculous although I think it was pricey for... More
