We end up there after looking for few restaurants around. Yes it was Easter . Everything were full . I checked a few high rates restaurants on TripAdvisor , also on the market square. Some need reserviert, other were over prices. So we finally make it to here . The welcome guy did a good job. We also tired from... More

First of all, this restaurant is a horrendous tourist trap. The waiter that stands outside luring people in instead of serving customers is an obvious bad sign. Not to mention that he lost interest the minute we came inside. I ordered a smoked salmon baguette and chips. It was pretty pathetic, with a tiny bit of onion and you could... More

Our first night in Bruges we were invited into this restaurant by the waiter who was quick to inform us that he welcomed dogs. We opted for the 21 euro, three course menu that included tomato soup starter, chicken in mushroom sauce and vol au vent or flemish beef stew (both served with fries) and ice cream and belgian chocolate... Enticed in by a good waiter who was very professional and friendly. Looking for something better than the tourist rubbish that is served in the main squares, we settled on the seafood platter for 2. It arrived with fireworks on top but it wasn't just all show. Clams, mussels, cockles, razor clams, two types of king prawns, crabs, crayfish and... More

Don't go here. We were hungry and it was our first night in Bruges, so we went in. Food was sub-par. Yes, the mussels were not in season so they were small. But they were also not seasoned - the cream&wine sauce was a milky bland tap water-like mess with no flavor. The dish didn't even include the fries/frits so... More

Anymore when I see a series of "menus" in English I lower my expectations. However, this restaurant was a pleasant street side experience a bit away from the bustle of the market square - so I took a chance. The staff were friendly and attentive and the evening started with a good house red. I had Mussels in garlic a... More

Visited recently and had lunch. The portions were generous and the food tasty. However a little over priced. Friendly staff and good service.

Visited this place as a last minute lunch choice. Ordered Flemish Stew and a beer. Stew was very disappointing as it was very bland as we're the chips served with it. Beer was cold at least but half the glass was head. Not run by locals and I doubt the chef has any knowledge of local cuisine.

How silly of us not to check Trip Advisor before we ate here! We looked afterwards and many people had the same experience as we did. Enticed in by a nice waiter. Ordinarily we do know better than to go somewhere where they tout for business but we were hungry. Vegetarian meal (cheese and tomato spaghetti) was lazy and ordinary,... More
