Delicious pastries, stunning chocolates, elegant macaroons, light lunches, divine hot chocolate with whipped cream all served in a stylish and elegant cafe. Busy but excellent view of the square; good service and top quality food.

This is too much of a classic. Pastries, chocolates and ice-cream in particular are excellent and up to its reputation. Avoid savouries such as burgers at all costs, you would be sorely disappointed. Good place for tea, people watching and Sablon Square viewing while sitting...More

Wittamer is located in the Sablon, a very nice neighbourhood in the centre of Brussels (walking distance from the central station). The cakes and waffles are very good but too pricy for Brussels standards- and there are many better places in Brussels (which are cheaper...More

Overpriced, dreadful service and bad attitude from staff - definitely the worst value for money on our trip to Brussels - had to wait 45 minutes to be served coffee and the cakes were overrated. €48 for 3 coffees and 4 cakes ..... Mmmmmm

This is the most famous bakery in the city and in this neighborhood it is a great place to get some pastries after walking through his beautiful area of the city.

The cakes in here looked lovely, so we shopped off to scoff a couple. Probably a mistake as the coffee was decided average and the seating was decidedly low end. The cakes were nice, but it all came at a price.

After a very tiring antique hunting adventure at Sablon and its neighbourhood, we had some rest at Wittamer. It has delicious desserts, cakes and nice, simple but tasteful sandwiches. In April the location is sunny in the afternoons whereas the cafes at the opposite are...More
