Good atmosphere, bemused by others comments on space as we had plenty, in fact more that a typical Italian restaurant. Good service, although the staff were struggling to cope with service on a Saturday night in April so you did have to make strong efforts to get attention. As we needed a quick dinner we ordered 2 pizza and a... More

Had a pizza for dinner. Quattro formaggi was delicious, the service was ok, the prices were quite nice, but the place was very cramped.

Nice atmosphere, very typical decor and homy feeling for an efficient and traditional pizzeria place, with good/average pizzas, consistent and sure value for money but nothing outstanding.

Great ambiance - attentive Italian (mostly) waiting staff and in the evening there is a group playing soft guitar music. Big menu with lots of choice. Pasta was nice and pizza was tasty if a little too soft in the middle. One of the nicest places for a friendly dinner near Schuman.

La Brace has been here for years. Deco has not changed. And wifi has not reached the establishment. Very busy on a work day but staff and kitchen efficiency results in little waiting. Pizza ok. Pasta ok. TIramisu good.

The Schuman (european union) neighborhood is well known for its terrible and expensive restaurants, a shame to give to foreigners this terrible image for a city that offers exactly the contrary: sheep and good food. Brace is not in this case , pizza looked excellent (i don't like it) and my plate ( foie veneziana) was ok. Terrible fault though:... More

Place to get wood-oven pizza near the EU with service by white-shirted Italian waiters. The place bustles with locals and families in the evening, very relaxed but rushed atmosphere. Easy to get in and out quickly for a good meal. I waiters seem to share the tasks of serving so it might be difficult to figure out what is going... More

I use this place regularly for work. Service yo-yo's between smiles and snarls. You can count on service being speedy - sometimes so efficient that you've not had time to read the menu. Chef can be flexible and food is warm and tasty. Italian friends tell me the price is dear for a pizza but agree the food is good.

La Brace is conveniently located in the European quarter of Brussels, on a short foot walk away from the Shuman public transport hub. It is bigger than it looks with plenty of indoor seating offered. The staff doesn't all make the impression of being authentic Italians, but that doesn't compromise the quality of their pizzas -- they're delicious. The pizzas... More
