We have tried the seasonal menu. I must admit, very generous menu and worth the price! What I did not like was that the chef oriented this menu on the french cuisine, with "heavy" combination of tastes (canard, poireau, gibier). Even the dessert, a revised version of the Italian cannolo, was filled with whipped cream, which was not the best... More

Beautifully executed - traditional French cuisine at its best. Ambiance is a little old fashioned for people under 50, but this is forgivable- the service is excellent. Set 5 course menu is great value for money!

Definitely one of the best tables in Brussels. First quality products, precise cooking, mastered sauces, the cuisine of Mr Bruneau has remained tasty and constant in quality over the years. The Bocuse of Belgium. The service is efficient and attentive. Nice terrace in summer... though not enough summer in Belgium to enjoy it.

If you are searching for a place to spend a magnificent evening - no need to search longer, here is it! While visiting such kind of restaurants I prefer trying sets. The discovery menu is the best choice you can make. This gives you an opportunity to taste the best from the Chef. Wonderfull mix of taste and texture opens... More

Booked to celebrate my wife's 50th birthday, this restaurant did not disappoint. I struggle to think of many restaurants we've eaten at which the food has earned 3 uses of "divine" by my wife! In writing to friends since our return, even the "sublime" word made an appearance. The food is wonderful, the choice excellent, the portions generous and the... More

during the late 1980's this was our favorite restaurant in Brussels. We went every two months and took all our visitors. It had a "surprise" five course menu with wine that was only divulged when each course was brought and explained. We had to go back and it did not disappoint. It was for the four of us one of... I have been 4 times this year for lunch and dinner at Bruneau. The food is excellent, lunch for Eur 55 with starter, main course and desert. They have certainly one of the best winelists in Brussels area, starting at reasonable prices, but also very exclusive and expensive wines. All in all for me one of the best relation price/... More

On April 16th had a fantastic 5 course extended lunch at Bruneau. It was -again- a top culinary experience and this as well for the food as for the wines and the perfect service. It is fantastic how the chef -after all those years- remains performing at this very high level. One wonders when the second Michelin star will arrive... More

I'll start off by saying the important thing: the food is very, very good. The decor wasn't to my taste, but the tables were set nicely. The young servers were professional and courteous. The lady of the house was also helpful, although she grumbled pretty unexpectedly when we asked if we could switch out some meat dishes from the tasting... More
