My wife and I had been looking for a good sushi and sashimi restaurant for a while and after being recommended this establishment by a few acquaintances, We went and gave it a try and since then, we've been back two more times. Granted, the prices are almost as high as the quality in terms of sushi and sashimi but... More

The quality of the fish is excellent, but the prices are in line with the quality, high. It is worth it though. Recommended.

Particularly good sushi/sashimi place at the city end of the Chaussee d'Ixelles, run by Japanese. We enjoyed mixed sushi and sashimi platters - not cheap at €30 each, but worth it. Service for one of us was a bit slow, but still recommended. It's very popular and if the ground floor is full, they also have an upstairs floor.

Quite authentic Japanese food and atmosphere. Be transformed to a small eatery in Tokyo right in the heart of Brussels. The miso, nigiri, goyza, and teriyaki chicken were all spectacular. I visit Tokyo at least once a year and every time make a gastro tour out of my visit. Yamayu Santatsu is competitive with good places in Tokyo. We will... More

The restaurant offers great food at an affordable price. For EUR 13 lunch menu, you have two appetizers, a miso soup, a decent main course and green tea. The only problem is to book a table in advance.

I had dinner with several colleagues and we ordered sashimi assortment and sushi assortment as well. It was simply delicious, with an amazing quality of fish, which was melting in a subtle and sublime way in my mouth. We arrived around 19.30 and it was not that busy, but when we left at 21.00 it was fully packed. Word of... More

Worst service ever! The waiter totally ignored us. Served main course before starters and it took awfully long time to get the food at all. Worst restaurant experience this decade.

We were 9 people. We ordered together but we received our food one at the time after 15/20 minutes even 30 minutes one after the other. When we told to the waiter that we still were waitin' for the rice he complained with us that we told him already 3 times. Unbelievable. The receipt was in japanese or in a... More

Exciting visit to a japanese resraurant with authentic flavour and looks. Defintiely looks humble but delivers good quality and fadt service. Not for all pockets but worth it to go out of ordinar and enjoy some japanese cusine. Still the price-quality ratio not fully balanced in the favour of the proce but the overall experience good. Wheb in Brussels, give... More
