We stopped here for dinner our first night in Brussels and were really happy. Staff is kind and food is good. We ordered belgian tapas as starter and a tasting of 3 belgian meats, we shared both dishes. We had also 2 Leffe beers. Total...More

We were looking for a typical brussels restaurant and this one was recommended by a relative. Service always with a smile. We had an appetizer plate with typical brussels "tapas" and it was delicuous. Main courses involved tartare, steak and carbonades and all participants were...More

My girlfriend and I arrived early in the evening for the meal. We were welcomed by friendly staff and a break from the hustle and bustle from the activity on the street. This was a great place to get a reasonably priced meal with a...More

We went there for lunch but the food wasn't as good as expected. I had a trio plate with the typical Belgian dishes and they all tasted the same. Service was ok but nothing special. It seemed more a tourist trap than the place worth...More

My daughter got the flemish carbonade - meat was tender. I got a bucket of mussles - this time just garlic. I liked the one I earlier had - white wine. Along with it is julioer beer - mild one compared to trappists' beers.

We went for lunch, it was packed with locals. Very pleasant atmosphere, local cusine, tired different dishes all in grat size and tasty. Service excellent. All in all great experience, and prices very decent.

Really recommend skievelat for good quality, tasty food in a cosy atmosphere. Chicken in tarragon sauce was delicious, as was the Brussels platter. Will definitely go again the next time we're in the city.

I got the recommendation from my Youth Hostel receptionist to go here as I was looking for some Belgian or European dishes. The restaurant was full on a Friday evening. Nice atmosphere there!

Came by to hit up some classic Belgian food with old friends and had a great time. Friendly service, loads of beer, and great food. Will surely be back next time I'm in town.
