Staff were great, worked really hard and the service was excellent. Restaurant is quirky, an old converted ironmongers I think. Food was fabulous. Dover sole was tasty, oysters were wonderful and even if you think you have no space left, you can fit the chocolate mousse in. It was delicious. They were so busy I thought we would be rushed... This is the 2nd time I have eaten here and both times the food has been fantastic. The staff are really friendly and happy to help with anything they can. A great selection of wines. I can certainly recommend it

We were a party of 12 and I saw some absolute stunning dishes around the table with the stand-out seafood platter for two of a few of my colleagues - it looked absolutely stunning. My only hesitation is the fact that the place gets quite noisy when full and full it is. Wine service was excellent. Strongly recommended.

Attended this place on several occasions couple times for business dinner, once as a couple as well as organised christmas party. Abdolutely lively food and amazing atmosphere. Its based in old hardware store and has very intimate atmosphere. Dont muss it! For me this restaurant really represents Brussels.

We enjoyed a great dinner here. Both meats and salads were excellent. Service was friendly, quick and professional. This restaurant is way over average prices in Brussels, but building itself and the decor inside make it worth a visit. They specialize in fish and seafood, but offer good meat too.

The most complicated about this restaurant is pronouncing its name; La Quincaillerie. Inside you are welcomed via one of the most impressive entrances of Chatelain. The interior is outstanding with its references to restaurants former function as a hardware store or more precise an ironmongery. Well inside its becomes obvious that seafood is the name of the game and the... More

This restaurant is in an old metalworks factory, a ground floor and two galleries looking down on the central part of the restaurant from both sides. The atmosphere is excellent, and so is the service. The food is copious and good value for money. I would go back again on my next visit to Brussels.

Top class seafood - really excellent! Nice and cozy atmosphere in an old hardware store - renovated with great taste and style. Great friendly service. Good choice of wines. But the food was the best- absolutely tip top class seafood. I highly recommend

Booked for a Sunday evening.Fantastic decor with warm and friendly staff. Was a little worried that the atmosphere might be lacking as it was a Sunday night but no, the restaurant was full and buzzing. Had already checked out the menu before our visit so we knew what to expect food and price wise but although the service was friendly... More

At the moment of arrival, the personnel quickly show what service means, making sure that your visit is carefully taken care of. They put the f in fancy. The oysters were really tasteful and the evening was how it needed to be, pleasant and enjoyeful. Can seem a tad expensive but it clearly is worth it.
